So I am preparing to start my camp. pretty soon. I have decided to try something new, I am using the swashbuckling adventures by AEG to run the game. It will take a little tweaking but I am planning on setting the adventure almost 400 years later then the current timeline has it set. I am also trying out the 3DA char gen system and it will be magic lite. So it should be really fun.
As a side note I was wondering if anyone else turns the opening into a small party. I have had a tradtion were when I start a campaign to get the mood set, I will have themed music of the region and prepare several 'regional' dishes. Generally they are tradional English, Welsh, Spanish, or Asian dishes depending on the setting. Well it will be interesting and I think my Caribbean & Creole food should add a bit of ambiance while we create fortune told chars.
Cheers,

Raw fish and grog would be an excellent choice of dish. Check out Maori/New Zealand native foods. Mmmmm. Hawaiian too!
