Age of Worms, My Way


Age of Worms Adventure Path


Has anyobody here replaced any of the episodes in this adventure path with their own creations? If so, did it affect the overall storyline much?


I'm in the process of completely redoing the 10th adventure Kings of the Rift. I'm running in Eberron and big battle giants vs. dragons just doesn't work (at least not unless you're setting it back 40,000 years or so).

Anyways I've had the Order of the Storm hide the phylactery in a different location (in Xen'drik) which I'm using a tweeked "Mud Sorcerer's Tomb" to represent. In order to get to this location the party will have battle their way past a group of giants that are defending the entrance (using part of the info from Kings of the Rift with a different map) and a group of the Emerald Claw that is also trying to gain entrance into the ruins (completely of my own devising.)

That's the short and sweet.

Oh... and I totally cut out the Alaster Lan (sp???) wind duke moment. Can anyone say forced!!! Might try to make something else out of this idea but not sure its necessary. One of my players is a thamaturgist and when he summoned his cohort I made it a minor wind duke (held in statis for just such a need.)
