I'm foreshadowing some stuff for my SCAP campaign and one of the things I'm doing is introducing a character from Sasserine. However, I need to know where he got the information to join up with the party. I want it to be a tavern or inn but I also want my SCAP to merge with the Sasserine backdrop when it comes out. Therefore, can I be given a preview by way of a name of such an establishment in Sasserine? I need it before my next game, which I believe is before I'll get my copy of 139.
Thanks.

What kind of character is he? Sasserine is broken up into districts, with each district having a personality of its own. Each district has several taverns/inn in them, so narrowing it down would make it easier to help you. :)

As Gwydion said, the districts have very different personalities to them. Also, each district has quite a few taverns and inns listed - I didn't notice any of them being expanded upon, however, so you should be free to elaborate one however you like.
That being said, here are a few choices from each of the districts. I tried to include a tavern and an inn from each depending on what you are looking for.
(t) = tavern, (i) = inn, (g) = gaming hall
- Azure District (lower class, work with city's internal waterways and whaling industry): The Bloodthirsty Pelican (t), The Drunken Dolphin (t - primarily for whalers)
- Champions District (soldiers, gladiators, etc.): Three Dwarves Digging (t/g), Rumblegut's (t/i)
- Cudgel District (residential, strong St. Cuthbert presence, safest district): The Rasp (t), The Whispering Anvil (t/i)
- Merchant District (as name implies, it is full or merchants, also most diverse with people from everywhere here): Gregair's Place (t/g), Fifteen Horses and a Mule (t), The Strumpet's Excuse (i)
- Noble District (nobles and those who work for them, also arcanist academies here): The Pearl and Parrot (t/i), Imp's Folly (t/g)
- Shadowshore (thieves, criminals, generally bad place): The Skinned Man (t), Coffinsquaters (i)
- Sunrise (residential, many owners of plantations outside city): The Hungry Gorilla (t), Winmester's (i)

These boards are terrific! This is more than enough information and I really appreciate it. The character is a Knight (from the PHBII) so The Pearl and Parrot will do.
Again, thanks for this. It was more than I anticipated. :)
