After having my subscription interrupted by Hurricane Katrina last year, delivery resumed in April (issue #133). Things went Ok for a couple of months, but then I never got issue #136 (with the male drow on the cover). I did get #137 (Arachnoid Beauty). I have yet to receive #138 (I had received the equvalent issue last summer by August 1st). I checked with the Post Office and they said they are not holding any mail for me. So, I think 136 and 138 are lost.
My situation is not unique, judging by the many other posts here. Why are there so many glitches? Is there some systemic error at your end? Is the Post Office dropping the ball and blowing smoke (I wouldn't be surprised).
I am happy with your product and want to remain a subscriber, but it's frustrating to see the magazine in stores three weeks before I get it, that's if I do get it. What can I do to help ensure accurate delivery?
Thank you

Replacements of your 136 & 138 are forthcoming.
As far as the perception of "so many glitches", please keep in mind that the only people posting in this area of these boards are people who are having a problem of some sort (mostly... we do have the occasional "You guys rule!"-thread, which are greatly appreciated). The problems presented here, by and large, represent a very small fraction of our total subscriber base. The fact is, we ship out all of our subscription issues at the same time and from the same place.
The only way we can effect delivery of a subscription issue is through the address. If you are experiencing delivery problems, then you should ensure that the address we have for you (i.e. the one that appears on the mailing label of your issue) is as correct and standardized as possible. We ensure that addresses conform to USPS Postal standards as much as possible, but after repeated missing issues, I would advise you to check with your local Post Office.
Thanks,
cos

Thanks very much. Your responses to everyone's problems are always top notch. I suppose it does look sorta slanted that there are so many complaints in one place. I didn't mean to imply that your operation is in shambles. Far from it. You all do a great job.
I checked the address and it is correct. I just feel bad that your solution always has to be send out more copies - it seems like a waste of your resources, but what choice do you have. I was just wondering if maybe the labels aren't printing correctly or get smeared/unreadable or the P.O. equipment misreads them, etc. I'd rather see that fixed for everybody than have you have to keep repeating yourselves.
Other than the occasional misconnect, I'm very satisfied. Other items I have ordered from Paizo have arrived no problem. I even got my Black Dragon. Just for fun, look at the flight path he took. Boy were his wings tired.

Just to let everyone know, we tend to average between 15 and 20 missed issues for each issue of Dragon and Dungeon that we send out. Since we send out over 30,000 copies each month, having between 30 and 40 missed issues is pretty darn good if you ask me. :) Sometimes it can seem like everybody and his brother are having their issues go missing, but the reality is that it really is a small, small percentage. And Cosmo is correct, if it happens to you more than once a year, you probably have a problem that we can't solve for you, because it is probably a problem with your local post office.

...after repeated missing issues, I would advise you to check with your local Post Office.
If your issues routinely disappear or just arrive later than they really ought to, you might also try having them shipped to a different address, preferably one served by a different postal carrier (or better yet, an entirely different post office).
