Is this players guide something we buy through the site or a free download? I can only go to one gencon and it's mandatory that it be Socal.
From here it says:
I believe the plan is to get Savage Tide up on paizo.com ASAP, and to have the PDF for download by the end of the month when issue #139 starts hitting mailboxes.

maybe by then the Ram will have some pint glasses
Actually, no they won't - I spoke with the mgr as I hate plastic glasses and he told me that it's because they 'lost' over a case and a half of those nice 23oz glasses before the Con even started. So the plastics are due to the itchy fingers of some real world Rogues! I just asked him could I buy one, so I legally took one home (I'm not a student anymore, I can afford to buy glasses now)

The Player's Guides are leaving Indy on a truck today; we'll start selling them online after they arrive in Bellevue next week.

Earlier, James Jacobs mentioned there was talk of shipping them as a freebie for those who renew a Dungeon or Dragon subscription. Is that still on? If so, when will it be possible, and will it be automatic or will we have to go through some special process to renew online and receive it with our next issue?

Hmmm... interesting. I don't remember ever posting anything like this, since this was never part of the plan for the Savage Tide Player's Guide. It was primarilly a premium for Gen Con; the remainder after the show will be available for purchase here at Paizo.com once we have them back in inventory (they're being shipped back here from the show via truck, so it'll take a few days). Later on (hopefully about the time issue #139 is widely available) we hope to have the Player's Guide available for download from paizo.com as a PDF.

Sorry, must have misunderstood or misremembered. I'm perfectly happy to shell out the $5 or whatever it is for a hard-copy, so I'll go ahead and renew, and purchase this baby when the link comes up next week. Thanks for clarifying.

The print edition of the Savage Tide Player's Guide is now available. (We've only got one box of it at the moment, but more is on the way, so if it sells out over the weekend, don't worry—it'll be back in stock next week.
