My wife put Dragonshard in my computer, and the monitor crapped out. It keeps popping up some box about "self diagnostic" or something. It won't let nobody do nothing. What does it all mean?
Assuming you have Window XP or similar...
Boot it up in safe-mode and uninstall the game if possible. How to get it to safe-mode varies by manufacturer so you may need to look it up in the owner's manual. It sometimes flashes on the screen during the initial bootup but often to fast to be seen.
If uninstalling the game doesn't fix the issue..then I'd suspect your video card has gone bad. If it does then you're probably using a video card that is too old or unsupported by the game.

I have no idea. It's just magic to me...
I'll look at the thing when I get home (hmm...Zug fix shiny box?) and see what I can figure out.
My wife usually does all this computer stuff; I am a temporal traveler from 1512 and your modern contraptions confuse me. And she couldn't tell me either. But thanks, I'll let you know if I can figure anything out.

If you have Nero 7 you can run the get system info option from the extras menu. Go to the hardware tab and it should show you what card you have in the peripherals section. There are other programs out there that can do it (I’m sure) but this one is easy to find and use. If you don’t have Nero you can download the demo and then delete it.
