Since the fairly recent completion of the Age of Worms, I went back and started reading the entire series over. What amazed me though was when I started flipping the pages of the magazine and found just how many other adventures I hadn't even read since I was (apparently) only interested in the AP material.
Reading through these other adventures it brought to mind just how much more it adds to an adventure to have it tied into the other adventures in the campaign. There were some solid adventures but compared to the AP stuff it just paled... interesting...

That is interesting, and I disagree. Some of the other adventures were absolutely outstanding. I found that they stimulated my imagination even moreso than the Adventure Path pieces, because they weren't tied in to any overarching campaign and I was free to think about how to incorporate them into a campaign of my own devising.

Seeing as I can't read the AoW adventures (I'm currently playing in the AP), I must say that I pay far more attention to the other adventures. ;)
There have been some particularly inspiring adventures lately. Just to name a few that impressed me were Ill-Made Graves, the one with the intelligent rope and the beetle round-up, and the Thrall of Graz'zt in Saltmarsh.
