Howdy!
I understand in the past there were no plans to release the awesome Greyhawk map as a poster. Has any thought been given to releasing a high quality image that subscribers could take to a print shop and get turned into a poster?
I ask because I am having a hard time finding a way to get the maps mounted and I would perfer to have as clean cut map as possible.
Thanks!

We only had the rights to do the poster as a one-time thing. Which means there's no plan at this time to release it again, in electronic or print format.
Although we DO still have the source files, so if things change in the future, we'll be able to move quick.
I got mooooonnnneeeeyyyy....you know you want it......I get what I want, you get what you want.
Seriously, why not try to get permission to offer it as a $2 download to Greyhawk fans? A lot of people would just tack it on to their orders just to have it.

Howdy back.

My grandfather runs a frame shop, and we went over a few options. The cheapest was simply to mount each of the four on a foam-core backing. I really don't NEED to have access to all four at once anyway. I also got the LGG map mounted at the same time, which I use when/if I need to give large-scale context to my players.
There are some other maps on Canonfire as well, though.

Thank you, James, for banging your head against the WOTC brick wall of stupidity, and banging the unanswered door-knocker of WOTC missed opportunity.
Their attitude just beggars belief.
They probably pay some pony-tailed ponce from a Madison Avenue ad agency thousands of dollars to conduct market research, when they have clamorous demand for product they refuse to release.
