This, for me, was a great Critical Threat, and I plan on at least one adventure featuring this NPC as a foil for my PCs.
The article gave some fun and interesting adventure and RPing ideas.
Kudos to the author, and I'd love to see more of his NPCs in print!

I pulled both vita and wren (plus her thieves guild) from a rejected adventure query, and the adventure was supposed to be a bit comical and play on classic vampire movie stereotypes. I've talked to a number of people who didn't get the Wren Field reference, so I can't feel too badly about it ;)

That is the mark of a true writer! I've done the same with some articles I've written that were rejected.
