The hardcover just got here today (just in time too), so I can finally give back the stack of mags to my friend. And while looking through it I find Drakthar's Way...but wait a second. I'm already on Zenith Trajactory with the group!
I'm thinking of using this as a "Look what the Stormblades did" although I'm open to any ideas from others.
It also makes me determined to wait for an AoW hardcover before starting that one.

Well, you could definitely throw it to the Stormblades and have them brag about it. You could also increase Drakthar to a full-powered vampire and ramp the difficulty up. I would keep the basic plot as-is, and just alter the circumstances around the half-orcs (the only plot point that is AP-specific) - since the half-orcs are already public knowledge at this time.
It's a fun adventure. I'd try to make it fit, myself. =)

I've just started Life's Bizarre, and was looking ahead to Drakthar's Way.
Is it just me, or does the set up for Drakthar's Way have way too much in common with the set up to Life's Bizarre?
Both involve a threat to the city that -after a short investigation- is traced to a shorter-than-human person who has an entrance to an underground dungeon complex in his place of business. In both cases, the business owner has been coerced into cooperating the antagonists, and in both cases the PCs are secretly watched before being attacked while investigating the place of business.
I'm worried that my players will think I'm trying to send them through the same adventure twice, after just changing some of the details! It's enough to make me want to skip the adventure entirely.

hexgrid,
My players have just entered the Kopru ruins and they are convinced that there must be dozens of these lost civilizations below Cauldron after Life’s Bazaar and Drakthar’s Way. I agree that the adventures seem repetitive, but each location does have its own character and when that character is played up, it really helps to differentiate the adventure locals.
As for the lead in to Drakthar’s Way using the bathhouse, you could change it up that the dwarf isn’t dominated. Rather he comes by one night and discovers the goblins using his bathhouse. Angered and somewhat concerned, he tips the adventurers off to the goblins hoping to get rid of the pesky menace to avoid having to deal with the law. For payment he offers the gems that he would give at the end for being freed of the domination.
As a side note, the adventure locations have inadvertently helped in my campaign because they have given credence to straining Cauldron’s guard force thin as they attempt to secure Jazidrune, The Malachite Hold, and Drakthar’s Way. Now, when the ½ Orc mercs start showing up, it will seem like a logical step.
Anyway, I hope the above may be helpful and if you end up not using Drakthar’s way for the SCAP, I would definitely keep it in mind if you ever need a well put together one-shot.
Good gaming,
Mark
