I really could use some help. I don't like the selection of 9th lvl spells and have the spell compendium at my disposal. Yet none of them seem very good or intresting. I need to know two things. How do you make your own spell, such as exp and gold cost? And do you know any good spells of your own or suggestions I could use as a spell. I'm intrested in summoning spells and explosion chaotic like spells. I would get summon elemental monolith, but the monoliths are too big to fit in dungeons... So please post whatever spells you know or just some suggestions of spells.

GtG, Summon Monster IX and Gate are both hellaciously powerful spells for summoning. If you go back over some old Dragon magazines, you'll find some expanded lists of creatures you can summon. In addition, some of the monster books provide notes stating "______ may be summoned using a Summon Monster ? spell." You and your DM may also work out some additions you both agree are balanced and sensible.
A lot of my own spellmaking requires a "benchmark" spell to use as a basis and a little bit of play-testing. Find one that has similar qualities as what your looking to design and go from there. In the late 90's a Dragon issue supporting 2e provided a detailed formula for designing spells from scratch. If someone on these boards remembers better than I do, please refer GtG to the issue. That would help a lot, even though its from an older edition.
Meteor Swarm is great if your tyring to blow s**t up. Weird is just plain nasty. And time stop? Forget about it. That spell's great. But, sorry, you don't want a debate of the merits of the 9th-level spell list.
If you can get your hands on the old spell compendiums for v.3.0, there were a LOT of destructive spells in there that may be to your liking. Be warned, though. A lot of them were broken as hell. Talk to your DM about them first and see what he thinks needs to be fixed first.

Thanks, ericthecleric! That's the one. I vaguely remember a dragon and a halfling on the cover? Not sure. That probably matches several covers. GtG, that's a GREAT source for creating new spells. I suggest you either borrow it from someone who has it, dig through old Dragon issues at your FLGS or used bookstore, or see if it's available as a download from this site.

I will do that. But I do have summon monster IX, though I didn't know about that expanded monster summoning...I will check that out later. About the 3.0 spells, my DM only does 3.5 now. Thank you for the help. Still trying to think of spells, and not too much coming to mind. If someone could give me a rough basis of a spell or just a small suggestion I could work on that. I'll be darned if I have to pick a 9th lvl spell from the book. I was already thinking about making a spell since about lvl 10 and being lvl 18 I have to make one quickly, or it's EPIC spells and those are complicated. Thanks again for all the help so far. I will check back later after I look at that dragon issue...

Gubbafet, here are 2 spells I approved some time ago that two of my players created.
This one was created using Shout as a benchmark, but the player wanted to customize it to his liking.
Bolomar's Thunderous Concatenation
Evocation [Sonic]
Level: Sor/Wiz 6
Components: V,S,F
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: Long (400 ft. + 40ft./level)
Targets: One primary target plus one secondary
target/level (each must be within 30 ft. of the primary target)
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: Reflex half
Spell Resistance: Yes
This spell creates a sonic discharge that begins as a single booming bolt commencing from your fingertips. Bolomar's Thunderous Concatenation strikes one object or creature initially, then arcs to other targets.
The thunderbolt deals 1d6 points of sonic damage per caster level (maximum 20d6) on the primary target. After the bolt strikes, waves of sonic force issue forth to as many secondary targets as you have levels. The secondary waves deal half as many dice of damage as the primary (rounded down). All subjects can attempt Reflex saving throws for half damage. You
choose secondary targets as you like, but they must all be within 30 feet of the primary target, and no target can be struck more than once. You can choose to affect fewer secondary targets than the maximum.
Bolomar's Thunderous Concatenation cannot damage objects or creatures in an area where sound is suppressed (such as the area within a Silence spell).
Focus: A rattle with a string of beads, with one bead per caster level upon the string.
This next one was created by a player that just wanted to blow things up. We worked out this spell between us.
Louis’s Force Blast
Evocation (Force)
Level: Sor/Wiz 9
Components: S, F
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Medium (100 ft. + 10 ft./level)
Effect: 40 ft radius burst
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: Reflex half or None (object)
Spell Resistance: Yes
A force blast spell creates a destructive burst that deals 1d6 points of force damage per caster level to everything in its area of effect (maximum 25d6). Unattended mundane objects including structures take full damage with no save. Unattended magical objects and living creatures are allowed a Reflex save for half damage and SR applies.
In addition, the blast of force physically expels creatures & loose objects away from its center as if being Bull Rushed. The modifier for the opposed roll is equal to half the damage dealt.
Objects or creatures colliding with a fixed object during the Bull Rush suffer and additional 1d6 damage from the collision and stop at that point even if the result of the Bull Rush would have pushed them further.
Force spells of a lower level than force blast active within the area of its effect have a chance of being destroyed. The caster of force blast makes an opposed caster level check against such spells and if he beats it the spell is destroyed. Force effects from items are treated the same, but instead of being destroyed are suppressed for 1 round.
Since this is a force effect, incorporeal creatures are affected by it.
Focus: A diamond worth 1,000 gp.
Both of these spells are meant to give you some ideas for making your own. Of course, if you'd like to use either one, feel free.

Steeve Greer you said something about downloading the magazine. Is that possible. If it is, is it free or cost money? Just needed to know. I like that force spell though, I would use it if it didn't cost 1,000 gold eatch time. Keep suggesting. I'm trying to make something like summon frost or fire shockwave/nova. Keep suggesting and if you could help me out with those frost and fire novas it would help alot.

I would search under Dragon from the main Paizo page and see if it's available to order as a back issue. Some of Paizo's material is a available in .PDF, I believe. Not sure if the mag is, though. There is also a set of CD-Roms called Dragon Magazine Archives that might have that issue in it.
As for the spell Force Blast, a material focus is not expended in the casting of a spell like a material component. The diamond is simply necessary in the casting of the spell much like a holy symbol is necessary for most divine spells. So, no, it doesn't cost that every time you cast it. You simply buy the diamond once and use it every time you cast the spell (see Components on page 174 of the PHB).
