Today when I got home from work I saw my subscription to Dungeon had arrived, and as always I opened it up first to From the Editor, and then to Dungeoncraft. Only problem, I couldn't find Dungeoncraft...So uh, what gives? Was there something mentioned in last months issue that I spaced, or is god finaly punishing me for all my transgressions by slowly and systematicly stripping away all the things I truely love in this world?
On to my second question. While reading Prison Mail I saw a letter talking about Magic of Incarnum themed adventures. This and the fact that I watched Silent Hill just the other day got me thinking. We need Heroes of Horror themed adventures! So, my question is, say I wanted to submit such an adventure, would it be best to submit it as an Eberron adventure (I remember reading something recently that setting your adventure in Eberron is a good way to get it published) or keep it generic and submit any Eberron ideas as a seperate adventure? (basicly is it better to stick with each nitch as a seperate submission, or is a dual nitch submission ok?)

Dungeoncraft: Monte wanted to take a month off, and we needed a few extra pages to cram more "Dawn of a New Age" stuff in, so it seemed like the perfect chance to make everyone happy. He's back in the next issue.
Submissions: For submissions, it's generally best not to mix the non-core books. If you're doing an Eberron adventure, stick to the Eberron books. If you want to do a Heroes of Horror themeed adventure (by which I take it you mean an adventure that uses material from this book, not a horror adventure, which we do quite often), set it in the core world. We have to reprint much of this information, and combining material from too many sources uses up too many words and leaves the adventrue short.
Setting your adventure in Eberron doesn't necessarilly give you a secret pass. We do need more Eberron adventures, but we don't lower our standards for Eberron adventrues; you still need to knock our socks off with the proposal no matter what campaign world it's set in.

I guess my phrasing could have been better, I know an Eberron adventure is by no means a secret pass, I just remember talk of you guys not receiving as many as you would like.
Glad to hear Dungeoncraft wasn't official dropped or anything like that. I think I've only ever read one article that didn't do much for me.
EP Healy, that's strange, usualy it's me hearing about how everyone else got their issue while I patiently (not realy) wait for mine. I'm guessing you live outside the US?
