First off loved the article! It is a fantastic concept, however. I have one question regarding the dark moon's secret ability; why does it grant the evil domain spells? I would think the trickery domain spell list would have been a more suitable choice. As such would it be balanced if I allowed my player to substitute the trickery domain spell list instead? Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome:)
Thanks!

It's like the flavour text says: the sidhe are jerks, and they're giving you rope to hang yourself with. I don't think Trickery would be a fair exchange, as that's a lot more useful in general; I think the point is that the Evil domain is mostly useful for combating good creatures, but using it might get you into even more trouble.

Having mostly "evil" aligned spells seems to me to be a far cry from being a "jerk". I don't seem to understand your statement regarding ..."Evil domain is mostly useful for combating good creatures", where in the article does it state that such was the intent? Also, the spells within the trickery domain seem more in line with what a fey creature would normally be able to manifest naturally. Hmm, I think I will go ahead and allow my player to change it to the trickery domain. At least for me this makes the most sense. Thanks for the input Gabriel N.:)

I prefer the evil domain for this one .. it adds a sinister feel to the druid. Something I think has mising for a long time.
On the other hand, if you feel Trickery domain fits better, then go for it! That's the beauty of this game. You can mix'n'match, adapt, change and toss elements up in the air and see what comes of it.

Agreed. For flavor reasons alone it works better. Sidhe scholars aren't out to trick people as a matter of course. They are the mortal thugs of generally evil fey, and so any trickery they do is in the service of evil beings.
Mechanically, not all domains are created equal. The Trickery spell list is, frankly, better than the Evil spell list.
Of course, those are just the "official" answers. It's your campaign, so your word is law. If you want to swap it out, do so. :)

I must have missed something while reading through the flavour text as I never had the impression that the sidhe scholar was specifically working their trickery in the service of evil beings. For me the best choice is the trickery domain. Although I do agree it is slightly better than the evil domain, however. The spell options granted by the evil domain can be just as potent if used properly. One great example is the use of the create undead/desecrate spells. If the character were to combine this with some of the other undead enhancing feats available he would be a force to be reckoned with!
