I have a group of newbie players who couldn't handle this adventure path yet. I decided to start them out in Alhaster to get them used to the town, but I have a problem. One of the NPCs in the town is based off of my own PC, what should I do if Prince Zeech is killed? They PC aren't playing there way into the castle and they know that the Prince is in danger. 15 year party, already been one attempt at his life. The bad thing is they know who the NPC is, they've met him, they just have't figured out that he's the one. So I go back to my previous question:What should I do if the NPC manages to kill Prince Zeech?

You control all the NPC's. If you want him to kill Zeech, then have a replacement plan. If you don't want him to kill Zeech then dont' have him do it.
