Missing: AD&D Encyclopedia Magica Volume 2 PDF?

Website Feedback

I was browsing the old PDFs here:

http://paizo.com/store/downloads/wizardsOfTheCoast/aDAndD2/rulebooks&pa ge=1

I always wanted the "Encyclopedia Magica" series as a kid but never had any money. The solid colours made them look like such a tidy set in the front of the 1995 AD&D Player's Handbook, so it's nice to think that I can buy them all today for $16.

But #2 seems to be missing! I can't exactly buy the grey, blue and green ones without the red one now, can I? :)

Also, elsewhere in that section, some books are out of numeric order because they spell out their numbers in words, and "Three" comes before "Two" in the alphabet. It might look tidier to use normal numbers or roman numerals.

Number two is missing from the original files, I believe. Most, if not all the files are the same ones used by RPGNow and others (I could be wrong), with some new ones and clarifications added in by Paizo.

I had to find the second volume on Amazon.

Was it expensive?

The series is something I'd like to see because I always wondered what I was missing as a kid, but since it's not something I can use in my games today without conversion, I don't want to pay collectors' prices for it.

Darkwolf is right—it wasn't in included in the files Wizards provided to us.

While we've been able to correct some of the errors in the existing files (adding missing maps, etc.), we don't currently have the rights to create entirely new PDFs.

Perhaps an oversight, or maybe they wanted to but lost the book. Maybe one of you guys could leave one of their guys a note about it?

We gave them a list of missing books when we first got the PDFs. I don't have any responses I can share with you on that, though.

I just thought about looking up these books (I was skimming the 30th D&D Anniversary Dragon, and came upon the Encyclopedia. I recalled flipping through them in bookstores when I was really young, but didn't play D&D then). Although I'm bummed that #2 is missing, at least you've notified Wizards. Thanks for supplying these!

Dear Sirs, I have purchased Encyclopedia Magica Volumes 1, 3 and 4. It is now April 13 2006. Regarding Encyclopedia Magica Volume 2, do you have any responses you can share with us on this, now.

Nope. I have doubts that I ever will.
