I was just wondering how the orange dragon flies. He doesn't appear to have wings, in the picture or the description, and there are no flight special abilities like with the yellow dragon or beholder, yet in the table he has a fly speed. Am I missing something?

I haven't seen the current picture for the orange dragon, but the ones in the old issues of Dragon (unless you went really far back) didn't really showcase the wings, though they had them, the wings were tucked tight against the body and hard to see.
I haven't seen the new compendium, so I don't know if the artwork is new or not, but if they did new artwork and used the old artwork as a model, the wings could easily have been omitted... they were always a little hard to see in the orange dragon pictures (except the very first one, which was overtly generic).

For the record, I have the book and had the same question. He might have itty-bitty wings that are hidden behind his head in the picture, but I'm willing to bet they were just accidentally omitted, like Ashavan said.
That said, oriental dragons can fly without wings (or special rules - sure they have a magic stone in their noggin's but that's really not a "rule"), as do a number of other corporeal monsters (like ravids) so you could just say it flies and that's that.
