I was looking over the Dragon submissions guidelines, and I can't seem to find a section detailing how to go about submitting compilations of homebrewed monsters.
Is there part of the guidelines that I overlooked, or are new creature collections the domain of a different magazine. If the former, please direct me to the section in question. If the latter, which magazine is it?

As mentioned, it would be a feature article. The best way to submit this idea is to list out each monster, its CR and type, and give a brief (3-4 sentences at most) description of the beastie, what it does, and what role it fills. We might ask for just one or two of your monsters to add to a upcoming creature collection (or a later one).

Does it ever happen that an article query gets split into several articles over consecutive issues to meet the word limit per article? (In my case, I submitted a query for nine monsters, and splitting the article, assuming all nine are accepted, into three sets of three monsters keeps down the word count nicely.)
