F'ing Players!

Age of Worms Adventure Path

This thread is to tell people about a pretty unique take on the AoW AP.
Little about me: Longtime DM, 26+ years experience playing
Of my players: Between the three of them, at least as much experience and one of them is traditionally the player that always picks the one plan you didn't prepare for as a DM

I decided to run this in Greyhawk, which is universally despised by everyone in the group, including the DM, but I just wanted to try something new for everybody. We play in either homegrown, FR, or Dragonlance, and have experimented with Eberron.
I tell my players that in this campain, they're not just saving the world, they're saving the multiverse, so I allowed them to each pick a character from a different setting. This makes our party breakdown a warforged wizard, a human paladin from a homegrown setting, a Irda bard from Dragonlance, and a halfling rogue from Forgotten Realms, the DM PC.
I'd like to tell you how they've done through the WC and get a little feedback on what you think.
First, I'd like to give you an example of F'ing Players, and I will pose it in the form of a question.
When fighting in the Three Faces of Evil, did anyone else have a player, after killing the dire boar, come up with the idea of using the animate dead scroll found in Filch's lab on said dire boar? If so, did they then proceed to turn it loose on the rest of the temple of Hextor? It definitely took some fancy footwork to get this done without the paladin knowing, but they did, and I must say, the results were spectacular.
I would like your thoughts and comments on this, and would anyone be interested in reading a campaign journal breakdown on this? If nothing else, it will give players out there all sorts of ideas on how to drive their DMs insane.

Yes I would be interested in reading at least how they pulled that off without the paladin finding out ..... I reckon 10 points to the ingenuity - what were the results of said actions?? (I am interested cause this reminds me of a player who used to be in our group)

I play the paladin, and it was actually pretty easy. Her armor got destroyed when they were getting in and they decided to replace it with the armor of the boss cleric of Hextor. They sent her into the next room with the halfling rogue to get into the armor. When he heard the chanting start, he started banging on the armor, ostensibly to get it properly into place on her. Over the banging on the armor and the rogue's patter, my paladin was clueless.

Xak will be back and speaking for himself as soon as we figure out why he can't get into his account.... Probably tonight or tomorrow.

The damn wizard in my group is sort of a pack rat and never sells or gets rid of any scroll, and or potion he comes across. After slayin Beast, he decides to animate it and have it lay their while the party continued cleaning out the rest of the Temple since it couldn't quite fit. Unfortunately in the final show down between the High Priest and his Acolytes, the leader ran away due to the party rapidly dispatching his troops. He met his end as he ran past the now Undead Beast and the Wizard called out for it to attack and the poor High Priest was pulverized between Beast & the wall.
