Making Dungeon Adventures available through PDF Download

Will Dungeon magazine back issues or individual adventures be made available in pdf format for purchase on your website?

Liberty's Edge

Funny, this came up last night at my game. One of my players had rediscovered his Dragon CD-rom and was trying to convince me that it would be worth the 30-40 hour (I think more) commitment to get every issue of Dungeon scanned into .pdf format. As much as I'd love to "vacuum-seal" the whole collection, I'm nervous with the thoughts of having so many scenarios at the player-pool's disposal.

I would think that Paizo would be better served to have the back catalogue of Dungeon scenarios available on a per scenario basis. Invest the time and $$$ to get everything into .pdf and extract the "Adventure Overview" so customers can pick and choose what they want based on elements they typed into the search engine (mid-level, forest, Forgotten Realms, 2E). Charge a reasonable fee to keep the casual snooper in check.

As I recall from previous posts, .pdfs cannot be created "legally" until every physical copy of an issue is sold/destroyed from the "back-issue" pile.

So it's all a pipe-dream until Paizo sells out back issues or we have a magazine burning party.

Wizard of the Coast has given us permission to sell sold out issues of Dungeon as PDFs, some of which are already here:

There's a bit more detail about what we can do and how we can do it (and why it doesn't happen quickly) in this thread here.

Thank you for answering my question. The uplink to the other thread was very helpful as well.
