I was just wondering if we would be seeing more articles like the Heroes of the War of the Spider Queen by Rich Baker. I really love articles like that that take characters from books and make good NPC writeups for them. For stuff I would like to see, Rich Baker's Last Mythal series and Richard Byer's Year of Rogue Dragons Trilogy would both be great choices. There are gaggles of characters I would love to see statted out. I don't know if this is something you guys are planning on doing again, but if so I look forward to it.

Unless I'm very mistaken, they've done the year of the rogue dragons trilogy characters. And I'm generally not a fan of these articles. I can stat characters myself, and while it's sometimes a fun excercise to mentally try and guess the stats of the chars (bonus point for not reaching for a sourcebook), I'd rather just not see the stats.

They did stats for Dorn and Kara, but nothing for Pavel, Will, Taegen or Raryn. Personally, I don't have the time to stat every NPC out that I might like to use. For our gaming group, bringing in a group of NPC's from novels everyone is reading are among the best highlights of our games. When our Underdark gaming group was wrapping things up around level 20 or so, I ran a bonus encounter using the WotSQ NPC's and got the best reaction from it that I did from anything we did through all those 20 levels. I can't see enough of these kinds of articles.
