Ok this is my guess but we will see how close to the truth I am. The next demonomicon article will be written up on Oox-Ob, followed by Malcanthet, and maybe right after that Demogorgon. But I still hope for Dagon sometime soon.

James Jacobs has already said that the next Demonomicon article will be about Dagon. After that it is conjecture, but I would suspect that we will have one on Demogorgon in the next year simply because of the Savage Tide Adventure Path.

As a huge fan of the Demonomicon Articles, I was wondering if we would see an article on Demogorgon to go along with the Savage Tide Adventure Path? It seems like it would be a natural choice since the 3rd Adventure Path features the Prince of Demons as it's primary Antogonist. Anyway, if it hasn't been specifically planned, let me say I hope that one is done to go with the APIII. I really enjoyed the first 2, and having this sort of article to go with the third would be the ultimate iceing on the cake.

Thanks!!

Unless I'm very mistaken, they've done the year of the rogue dragons trilogy characters. And I'm generally not a fan of these articles. I can stat characters myself, and while it's sometimes a fun excercise to mentally try and guess the stats of the chars (bonus point for not reaching for a sourcebook), I'd rather just not see the stats.

They did stats for Dorn and Kara, but nothing for Pavel, Will, Taegen or Raryn. Personally, I don't have the time to stat every NPC out that I might like to use. For our gaming group, bringing in a group of NPC's from novels everyone is reading are among the best highlights of our games. When our Underdark gaming group was wrapping things up around level 20 or so, I ran a bonus encounter using the WotSQ NPC's and got the best reaction from it that I did from anything we did through all those 20 levels. I can't see enough of these kinds of articles.

I was just wondering if we would be seeing more articles like the Heroes of the War of the Spider Queen by Rich Baker. I really love articles like that that take characters from books and make good NPC writeups for them. For stuff I would like to see, Rich Baker's Last Mythal series and Richard Byer's Year of Rogue Dragons Trilogy would both be great choices. There are gaggles of characters I would love to see statted out. I don't know if this is something you guys are planning on doing again, but if so I look forward to it.

Celeste's motivations in the Shackled City adventure path were never really adequately explained in the original run of the adventures in Dungeon, which is a shame. She was kind of a late addition to the mythos of that Adventure Path, and she wasn't really explained well.

Her true nature and motivations are detailed more clearly in the Shackled City hardcover; she's good aligned, but certainly not lawful. If, in your Shackled City campaign, you had her be evil, and you fear that using her in the Age of Worms will cause a weird disconnect with your players, simply change her name and you're good to go.

If anyone who doesn't have the Shackled City hardcover is interested, I can post a quick explanation here on this thread that describes why Celeste does what she does in that campaign.

Yes please that would be very helpful. I thought she was evil as well when we ran the original Shackled City Adventure Path and I never bought the hardcover, so it would be immensely helpful to me as DM to know a bit more about her. We aren't that far along in the Age of Worms yet, but we will be getting through last months adventure in the next couple of weeks so this info could be very useful.

Hi there,

This is my first post, but I have purchased every issue of Dragon going back to issue 279 and every Dungeon issue going back to issue 84. There is always great content in both your magazines and the most recent incarnations of both are simply amazing. My campaign group is totally based in the Underdark, and I was wondering if there might be either a couple of articles or perhaps even a complete issue dedicated to adventuring in the underdark. I have some decent ideas and there have been several articles and adventures in the issues I have, but I don't think there has been a true "Underdark" issue in the current incarnation. Ideally I would love a cross over set of issues like you did with the Githyanki and the Lich Queen in Dragon 309 and Dungeon 100 only with an Underdark theme. I base my campaign in the Forgotten Realms, but I certainly wouldn't mind generic underdark content and I will adapt it to the Realms myself if necessary.

I know you guys probably get at least a 100 different requests a month for different types of content, but I would really love some solid underdark based ideas that I could inject into my campaign. Keep up the great work and I can't wait to get the next issues of both your mags!!!
