I used to have an old Dungeon Magazine in which there was a short adventure that was part of an on-going series called the Challenge of Champions.
The players would have to overcome obstacles and puzzles in an adventuring guild, using all their wits and luck to gain points and win a trophy or prize.
They were up against other adventuring parties in a sort of league.
Anyone know this?

Dungeon #69: "Challenge of Champions II"
Dungeon #80: "Challenge of Champions III"
Dungeon #91: "Challenge of Champions IV"
Dungeon #108: "Challenge of Champions V"
This question seems to come up fairly often on RPG boards:

Yeah, they were great adventures! It's funny that this thread appeared because I was just thinking about the Challenges of Champions yesterday. I have a regular campaign calendar and once a year the adventurers' guild holds one of these tournaments as its annual event. I was wondering, now that there hasn't been a new Ch'o'Ch published, what I was going to use this year as a replacements.
Anybody got any suggestions?

If you look at the dates when those issues were published, you'll see that they come out about every two years. "Challenge of Champions V" was published in 2004, so in theory, "Challenge of Champions VI" would be published sometime in 2006, if the pattern holds.
Fortunately, I've already got 5 of the 10 scenarios figured out so far for "Challenge of Champions VI." My goal is to have the entire adventure finished and submitted to Dungeon by the end of the year.
