The indexing is still running. If you are not seeing things that you should be finding, that is expected.

Are you actually getting error messages? if so, on what search queries?

Ah, I just assumed that the indexing would have completed by now.

As for the error, searching for a word I know to appear in a particular part of the site (my name "Callum" in the "General" section) resulted in "Your request produced an error".

Noticed this one as my usual way of remembering what I've posted is just to search for my name! Other searches either work fine or just miss out results that presumably haven't been indexed yet.

What order does the search function return results in? It's obviously not chronological, alphabetical by title, or even by board.

Not knowing what order the results are in makes it harder than it ought to be to find things.

Until recently messageboard posts were sorted chronologically. Now they are sorted by relevance, that is, the more often your keywords appear in a post the higher it appears in the results.

Sorting by forum is an interesting idea that might help. I'll add it to the pile of features we're considering.
