Who to contact about an overdue response to an article proposal?

Dungeon Magazine General Discussion

Hey ho. Who should I contact about an MIA response to a Dungeon adventure proposal?

The proposal in question was sent by email on June 30 and I haven't heard a peep -- a week and a bit shy of two months now. I did send a follow up email last Sunday (August 14), but with my inbox still devoid of Dungeon related email today, I started thinking that the messageboards might provide me with a faster, more direct route to some kind of resolution.

Thanks, in advance

You might check out the "Is there a Blackhole..." thread - if only for a good laugh. :) In a nutshell it currently takes three months to get a response and it sounds like you just missed the last cut-off date. I would note that that is still faster than most magazines though slower than the outdated guidelines state. I have it from a reliable source the next submission meeting is scheduled for sometime after GenCon - when I don't know.

Getting a response this week is probably not going to happen as most of the staff (and all of the Dungeon folks) are at the afore mentioned Con and will be playing catch up all next week.

Good luck,
GGG
