This is pretty interesting, but why is the chapter on Pelor using 2nd edition rules? That struck me as odd. I realize that a lot of the Canonfire people are old-timers, but you might be able to get more of the newer, younger players interested if you updated your rules set. Most of the new guys don't even know what THAC0 is, let alone want to figure the dang thing out.


I disagree. Players of WotC D&D have more than enough product support. Players of TSR's D&D deserve more, not less.

While I can agree if your a 3e head(like myself), that 2nd, or 1st ed. stats might seem out of date, but good ideas transfer well. And if your into Greyhawk at all good and new ideas are always welcome, whatever the edition.

BTW as far as as editions go there are a lot of 3e'ers on CF as well as the folks who play older editions. Dont let an old set of rules ruin some good work.
