OK, so I made my order about 4-5 hours ago. Under My Assets: "The following downloadable files are available for you to download: Dragon Issue #320 PDF Download (18 files)" There's a link to "Generate personalized download" which I have clicked, giving me a "Your download is currently being personalized. Please check back soon." message. What next?

Within a minute or two of seeing that message, re-reviewing your assets will display a link to the downloadable file. We'll change that page to make it a bit clearer...

I've done that but I get the "Generate personalized download" link again every time I access my assets page again. Is this the intended behaviour?

That's the same behaviour I've been getting since Saturday. I've tried leaving the assets page open after I've clicked the "generate" link, and I've tried many times over the past few days to open a "fresh" assets load after having clicked the "generate" link. Still, no dice.


So it seems to be broken. I'm still getting that behaviour and it's been hours since my purchase.

Let's make this error report complete:

I'm using Safari 1.2.4 (v125.12) on Mac OS X 10.3.8 (7U16).

The behaviour is as follows:

1. I click on "Generate personalized download" in my assets page.
2. I get a "Your download is currently being personalized. Please check back soon." message.
3. When I reload the page or go again to my assets page I find another "Generate personalized download" link.
4. This could be repeated again and again.

What was expected:

1. Some kind of link to download the 18 files of Dragon Issue #320 PDF Download.

Hope this helps if someone from tech support reads it.

I'm going to try using Windows XP now, to see if it's a Macintosh related bug, but I don't think so since the Paizo store uses WebObjects from Apple. I'll post again if I'm successful.


I'm getting the same problem when using the following platforms:

* Firefox 1.0.2 on Windows XP SP2.

* Internet Explorer 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158 on Windows XP SP2.

It would be great that when this problem was solved some customer service representative e-mailed possibly affected customers. I'll check this forums nonetheless.

The download for Dragon 320 was indeed hosed, but has now been fixed. Within a minute or two of clicking the "personalize download" link, you should see a direct link to the issue as a .zip archive on your assets page.


Yeah! The problem's been solved. I've successfully downloaded the magazine. Thank you for your efforts too, you've been very quick solving the problem.
