I dont wanna go looking through 50 issues of dragon magazine that i have so my question is.
Which issue has the 2 or so pages dedicated to the orders of the red knights? and has like spells based off of chess and such and shows a cleric in a bright red shiny breastplate?
They are with the one goddess of strategy etc. in faerun, has like a red chess piece as her symbol e.e
I loved that but I can't find it!

            TORTLES PWN YOU!
ever have a tortle greenstar adept on your ass with tons-o-damage-reduction-feats? I bet you havent O.o its scary.
Not only do I love the Tortle, you have given me an excellent idea for a new charachter (however, i'm unsure if untyped damage resistance stacks... Or how it stacks with typed DR... But, I figure if you have at least one DR for all major attacks, you'll take statiticaly less damage... Damn. I need to talk to the min-maxers over at WotC's MBs... Damn.)

            O.o...
Actually They should stack. Green star adept's damage reduction is X/adamantine
While the DR the feats give you in like complete warrior or savage species are all damage reduction of X/- so basically put this way
If you have like a 2wiz/3fig/10greenstar then i suggest at your first level of greenstar to take the tough-skinned feat to add 2 to your existing DR (savage species), so at first level you gained 1/adamntine from your greenstar, then added 2 to it afterwards from the feet to make it 3/adamantine (I should be able to talk about the greenstar adept with no trouble since the whole prestige class is on the wizards website on a old article o.o).
Then at level 4 of greenstar (lvl 10) to make it 4/adamantine plus another 4 from the 2 feats stacking, then again at greenstar 7 (13th level) and 10 (16th)for about a total of 18/adamantine
It may take up all your feats but oh well, then at 19th level overall you could take it once more to get 20/adamantine.... And what do you do to a giant green sculpture tortle thats immune to critical hits and even has 20/adamantine damage reduction? or just 18 if you want? Thats a tank if you ask me.
A fighter thats a spell caster that can go right up in front and take in a bunch of good hits and barely even be phased, and if you level right you could be able to have up to 5th level arcane spells! WOOT!
Leo: I hit him!
Aeris: how much?
Leo: 15 damage
Aeris: He has damage reduction of more than that
(round 2)
Leo: ALRIGHT CRITICAL HIT!
Aeris: He's immune to critical hits, just roll damage normally
Leo: awww....*rolls*...20 damage
Aeris: He soaks up the damage like nothing and pwns you, he then throws a fireball and incinerates you, your dead.
o.O thats basically how it would go.
Dont go for greater resiliency (CW) it only gives an extra +1 to dr
Another build you could go off using the DR tactic would be to get their con up to the required amount and get roll with it (SP)but the problem with that is then you had to deal with the fact that soon you wont have a con score at level 10 of greenstar. And if what i heard about losing feats because you no longer meet the prerequisites is true. Then you would lose all the feats with that. So if you use that build go up to level 9 at the most and be done with it.
Darn im talking alot, lets keep going.
Another build would be to say screw extra DR and just go for hit point feats like dragon's fortitude or any of those (masters of the wild) to help compensate for loss of hitpoints from wizard levels.
One other possible build would be to use feats to build up on his natural armor since it would be about a +9 for a tortle as a full greenstar. cant damage what you cant even penetrate.
If you ask me thats one tuff sucka to kill. But if push comes to shove, you could spite your dm and make 4 tortle ninjas and call them leonardo, donatello...well you know the rest.
Gotta jet!
TORTLES ON A HALF SHELL! TORTLE POWER!
