My sword and dagger don't get along.

Sentient weopons have always been a favorite of mine. What happens if a character has two and, although similarly aligned, they have conflicting egos? What happens when a sentient weopon feels an opponent is beneath them? Could be funny or disasterous. Heck, I'd even write it for you.

You might enjoy the sentient sword stories by Patrick Weekes that appeared recently in Amazing Stories (e.g., issue 606). Plenty of funny interaction between sword and bearer.

Not to blow my own horn (too loudly), but I wrote an article about 4 unique intelligent items for Giant in the Playground that you might find interesting. Read it here.

I have done a situation similar to that, but I didn't really play with it as much as I should've. It was just that one sword was jealous of the other, even tho the other couldn't talk.

That would be alot of fun, I think. The player always steppin' in between them. Good roleplaying and would create alot of comic relief and fun. :)

Good idea, Jo'din!!!

Any of you see the Nodwick in wich he's told to carry three sentient weapons home and that has some very humerous results I can't remeber what number it was though
