I am currently running strike on shatterhorn, and finally nearing the end of AP1. Along the way several members of my adventuring party (the Ironguard) have established themselves
in various positions of power within the cauldron region, including key political and economical roles. I have heard rumor of the cauldron region making an appearance in AP2.
Just wondering will my epic level PCs from AP1 become possible NPC mentors for the new batch of PCs starting AP2? Many of my players are fraught with anticipation at the idea of their old
PCs becoming living legends in the Age of Worms. Will AP2 have a place for our old heroes, or will their legacy be forgotten
like the empire of the elusive spellweavers?

Well thats an excellent idea! I like it a lot. The only problem is that they have already stated (recently) that age of worms will not take place in cauldron :(
They stated that one of the adventures might "revisit" cauldron, but thats it.
You could still have some of your epic npc's make an appearence in whatever town the new AP is set in

To be clear, in the current incarnation of the unfinished, unapproved outline, the Cauldron _region_ makes an appearance, but Cauldron itself will not be a focus of any part of the Adventure Path. We might include a little information in case the PCs decide to visit, but exploring the city will not be a focus of the campaign.
