Still very frustrated

Customer Service

Well it seems I have to use the messageboards once more. I have once again written to you via e-mail and not received an answer.

It has been more than a month since I wrote here at the messageboards, and more than four months since I ordered my subscriptions to both Dungeon and Dragon.

I STILL haven't received any issues at all of either magazine!!! Thats right - FOUR MONTHS!!!

I have been very patient, but this is starting to get ridiculous. The last time I wrote in the messageboards, you had problems receiving foreign e-mail. Well thats over a month ago and you are still not answering e-mail, even though my e-mail client tells me my mails were successfully delivered!

I'm waiting for an answer!

(This is also posted in my earlier thread.)

This would explain why I have not received a reply to my email. Jeremy Walker (Customer Services Guru) if you are available could you please contact me as I have not received my magazines yet and it has been 12 weeks. Here is an extract from the mail I sent to you today.

"I emailed you a week ago regarding the missing issues of Dragon and Dungeon but have received no reply.

I have now received a second Dragon 323 but still no Dragon 324 or Dungeon 115.

I would be very grateful if you could respond with details about my subscription and with news as to when I will receive my magazines. Presumably by now I should also have received Dragon 325 and Dungeon 116 but these have also not yet arrived.

I received the Dragon 323 so there is not a problem with my address so either my postman is stealing the magazines or they aren't being sent from your distribution centre.

Jason"

BTW Dragon 323 was just as good the second time around.

Guys thank you for your continued patience while we worked out the remaining problems with our European fulfillment. I have just replied to both of your emails and I am happy to report that I believe the difficulties with our European delivery system have finally been solved.

Jeremy, I don't know if no-one noticed my post in the Website section, but have you guys considered getting a ticket tracking system so you can have it automatically reply to any new email? There's a very good free one out there called OTRS, from a German group. (Their web page etc is in English, and by default so's the software.) At least that way people would know that their message was received...

If you guys do decide to go that route, let me know and I can help you set it up. I've set it up so many times at work that I could practically set it up in my sleep at this point. ;-)

Well it would already help us if their mail system would support receive notifications. That at least gives us the confidence that the mail at least reached their mail server and got routed over to the correct receipient. I never was sure if my mail actually got to them because there is no such thing as a read/received notification on their side.

Yup, we saw it last time. Thanks for your offer of help as well! We are evaluating our needs and will be considering some possible solutions over the next couple of months.

Thanks,
rob

I'm from the UK and still waiting for Dungeon Issue #117, are you sure the system is working?

:/

Well...now its been two more weeks since I last wrote in the mesageboards. I still haven't received any magazines at all.

It has now been 21 weeks and 1 day since I placed my order for both Dragon and Dungeon. Under subscriptions it says 4 issues of each magazine have been sent to me...hmmm...

I wonder if I will ever receive the magazines I paid for...

My local game shop have all the magazines so dearly miss. The only problem is the game shop charges $126 for 12 issues compared to the $72 through Paizo - so I'm still waiting.

Bjarke I received the first magazines of my subscription in August (Dragon 323 and Dungeon 114) after about 10-11 weeks but have not received any since.

That is 7 magazines that I have paid for and not yet received. However by my reckoning that is only about 17 weeks without a subscription and only about 13 weeks since it should have arrived plus 8 weeks for deliver.

*brain gears whirring*

That must mean that I am about 21 weeks 1 day as well. Unfortunately all the local stores are out of Dragon and Dungeon from that long ago so I don't even have the option of cancelling and buying from a shop.

I could try the paizo back issue service of course. But....No! I think not.

Maybe www.theplaceforgames.com will be able to send the issues that I require but I am not living in much hope here.

Back when I first subscribed I received my magazine from TSR at least two weeks before it was available in the shops. I may be exaggerating or looking back through rose-tinted glasses but if they could do it then why can't paizo?

Jason, I also had a subscription for Dungeon when it was TSR/Wizards that sent me the magazines. I always received my issues at least 1 week before I could find them in the stores.

Those were the days...

How have things changed so much for the worse in just the past year?

I thought it was bad that I was constantly waiting to recieve my dragon up to 2 weeks after the same issue had arrived in stores, but you definitely have me beat.

When my subscription was about to expire 2 years ago, I must have recieved 2 notices 1-2 months before my last issue, and a notice included with my last issue. This time, I get a letter saying that i recieved my last issue 2 weeks ago, and oh, you might want to subscribe again.

How is it that Paizo can get this magazine to the stores on time, but cannot seem to manage getting 12-24 prepaid issues delivered in a timely manner?
