Okay, I love the new Dragon Magazine. Even though I DM more than I ever play, this new direction of Dragon has something (usually LOTS of somethings) that I can place in my campaign every month. I get all geeked out around this time of the month just waiting for the next issue to arrive. Great job, folks.
My group and I are "crunch junkies". Any new spell, feat, class ability, class variant, or prestige class is snatched up like candy. We just can't get enough. Thus, we love the articles every month about each of the core classes. Brilliant move. However, we do have a request. We'd like to see one more article added to the monthly list. Please add a monthly article that focuses on one of the optional classes such as Marshal, Warmage, Warlock, Favored Soul, Swashbuckler, etc. All but the warlock is represented in my campaign already. We aren't asking for Dragon to publish an article for each, every month, but maybe one on Warmage this month, Favored Soul the next, etc. We're just asking for one page! ;)
Add this, and the new Dragon Magazine will officially be perfect!
The problem with that is that non-core articles are only useful to those who have the right books. Personally, I wouldn't be interested in something like your suggestion (I've never heard of any of the classes you just mentioned except for swashbuckler, though I'll guess that they're all from OA) although I wouldn't start a protest over one page per issue.
