Thanks everone, that does help, but unfortunatly I've just had 2 players ditch, so I have to re-write all the adventures I've made so far. Oh well, whatcha gonna do?

Charisma would go down, dude, not up. Charisma is how likable and, well, charismatic they are. They would go somewhat insane and become not-so-good with people (a minus to charisma). That's why bluff and deplomacy and such are based on charisma. Other than that your ideas sound pretty cool Jonathan. Your ideas are pretty cool too, Chase. You could make a couple different templates, depending on the circumstances of their imprisonment and escape.

I was wondering if anyone could help me. I'm going to be DMing a party of six or so PCs. I'm glad to enough PCs, but I'm having trouble designing adventures. When they all get to second level they will have a combined level of 12 and an average level of 2. Now a monster with even a CR of 10 would eat them alive, while a monster with a CR of 2 would just lay down and die. I know I can put them up against a bunch of low level monster, but that can get old. So, where is the happy medium? What single CR level can I pit them against and give them a challenge without ending in massive amounts of PC death?

I noticed how DMs in D&D nearly always put their players in dungeons but almost never let their players interact with dragons. So I'm going to DM a campaign that pays special attantion to dragons. Yes this sound like Dragonlance (of which I am a big fan). In fact, It is like Dragonlance TO THE MAX! heheh Sorry I just like doing that.

Never head of them before but this may be the coolest thing EVER! I now need gem dragon info, badly. I want a gem dragon themed issue. However I'm sure not everyone has the same interest in them so I'd be happy with an article or two. Maybe an Ecology article. I think I might search down all the info on Gem dragons I can get and start writing an article/articles myself. Hopefully they will be submitted and accepted in the end.

Yes, yes, yes, and yes. Cool, cool, cool, and cool. Chaos would be cool. Should be handled in a way that is either not from the view of any specific alignment or shows fom theoint of view from all alignments. And anything new on Slaadi would be great.

Both should be given the same amount of money to buy equipment with (magical or mundane) plus the amount of money it suggests for each class at the beginning of the equipment chapter in the PBH. For how much money they get look at the table in the DMG, I don't know the page. In the first few levels the fighter would win, hands down. However, once the wizard started getting good spells and the levels/int to back them up It's be more in favour of the wizard as they progressed. Sample characters may include at every 5 levels? As for allies, only those gained through class features (familiar) and feats (leadership) should be alowed. Now Wizard vs Sorcerer, Wizard vs Cleric, or Wizard vs. Druid, or Cleric vs Druid. -Those- would be battles to remember.

ZELAZNY RULES! The Chronicles of Amber rules! What was the other one I read? The one wil Pol Detson where the babies from our world and a world with magic get switched... Changeling. Very good book I would love a campaign int that mutiverse. it could include out univers in midievil times, the changeling universe, the amber universe, and rules and ideas for DMs building their own universes.

I have never played a druid! ...for more than one session. They are one of my favourite classes and yet it seems I don't get around to playing one, curse. If my wizard dies I'm makin' a druid! Actually I'll mix my druid idea and mage-knight idea and take as many levels as ranger as I can before he starts getting spells (3 or 4, I can't remember) then from there on in it's druid. Anyhow Druids are cool do more stuff for druids. The class acts help, but it seems there is more to be said for the druid. Maybe I'm jusr delusional, it's what my gaming-buddies tell me.

I fold out poster would be awsome! Some information about artists would be cool. And there should definitly be a section where the best fan art can be put (in a side bar or something). Also (short) fan-fics would be kinda cool. Of course only good ones, but I donno if that fits with the Mag.

That could be most interesting BOZ and I think Medesha is right about maybe making it more playable so to speak. It could help DMs looking to make goblinoids (esc. bugbears) the main villains in their campaign. You could say that the six gods have grown in power and not taken oter monsterous humanoid races as followers (other goblinoids [goblins, hobgoblins...], orcs [which would let half-orcs take these as patron dieties], etc...) and that they now threaten to become quite dominant gods and maybe even bring a tide of darkness yadda yadda <you know the plot> blah blah. and whoeve is trying to stop them, or maybe no on is trying to stop them yet. Anyhow monster dieties = good chance for coolness.

Magically imprisoned, like the imprisonment from the Deck of Many Things? That'd be cool to see on the rare occasions that someone got out how it effected them. It'd also depend on the type of impresonment, no? Like in a black void vs a white void vs on a island floating through nothingness vs whatever a DM can think up for magical imprisonment.

I never read "Wil Save" but I suppose that sounds like what I mean... I mean what that sounds like... You get the picture... I hope... Anyhoo, YEs celebreties should talk about gaming (esp D&D [obviously]) and maybe if they have characters or classes they made up those could be published and that would be cool.

All I can say is "YES!" I want more psionics; it'd be very very cool.

yeah, I think that'd be worth a page. I'm sure DMs can desribe a slab of rock sliding open, but some variety and (acurate) detail would be nice.

I agree, this would be awsome and make those classes more acceptable and more in-depth for gaming. This idea goes along with a couple other threads in here I believe....

A article in the magazine where celebrities talk about D&D would be pretty cool...

I agree with bg2soatob, but one page per issue wouldn't be bad, but it could even be one page every 2 issues. It might be interesting though, and who knows someone in my budding campaign may want to play one of those classes so it may become useful to me.

I love elves and think it would be awsome to see more on elves, and more various kinda of elves. In fact, it would be ver cool if you followed suit with the Class Acts artile and made an article ever month that had something new for each standard race (a subrace, prestige class, optional rule, extra information, a bit of culture etc...)

PS - Drow may eat spider, the simble of thier patron diety, to become closer to Lolth..?

That could be cool, especially since the campaign I will be starting (DMing) will focus more on NPC villains rather than monsters (on request of the players, and my desire to give every single thing my adventure a one-million page back-story =p)

Recently I've been spending alot of time thinking about a mage-knight type character. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about: A character who combines fighting prowess with arcane magic. However, I am un satisfied with a cross class fighter/wizard (or sorcerer). I think there should be more to it. Perhaps not all of the wizard/sorcerer spells should be available to such a class? Perhaps this character should have access to some spells that are not available to wizards and sorcerers? Perhaps something in the special column besides a familiar and bonus feats? Anyhow, I would like it if someone in Dragon thought this idea was worth pondering and wrote an article on this. Perhap it should be a prestige class, rather than a base class? Anyone else think this is a worthwhile idea?

Psionics rule! There should definatly be a psionic section in Dragon! Some poeple don't like playing wizards, but there is still a spellcraft section. So even if some pople don't like psionics there should still be a psicraft section (or something similar). I wouldn't go so far as to say it's like being prejudice, lichlord, but it sure would be nice to have the comlexities of psionics looked at almost as much as the complexities of magic.
