Is this irony or coincidence?

Dungeon Magazine General Discussion

I can never tell since that harpy Alanis Morrissette released that song...

But anyway, I thought I'd share an interesting Dungeon-related story:

A while back, I ordered some back issues through this website, and was very, very impressed by the speed at which they made their way to my mailbox (six business days). So I sent Dungeon an e-mail letting them know how much I appreciated that. To my surprise, someone decided to print it in "Prison Mail."

Thing is, I missed that issue. And I had to order it through the website again. And again, it showed up very quickly (ten days this time, but there was a holiday in there). So again, I'll mention that that department is doing a great job. They all deserve raises.

Just thought it was kind of funny that my letter about ordering back issues was printed in an issue I ended up having to order as a back issue...

Heh, yeah, its too bad that normal issues still take 2 months to reach me in the boondocks of...New Jersey(?!).

I have always received my back-issue orders quickly, and they're well packaged. Someone there named Amanda has helped me a few times, and she is awesome. While I am sure there are others and they all do a great job, I have associated her with Paizo's customer service. So, props to Amanda - she's doing a great job. Make certain you keep her, Paizo.

From what I've heard the lag in delivery time is the fault of the good ole USPS. They decide to deliver our periodical when ever they get around to it (as the postage used isn't a priority, nor is the cirrculation large enough to warrant many complaints)... or so the rumor goes.

I think primemover is probably right. My subscription to Oklahoma City usually takes a full 20 days to arrive but occasionally shows up after only 5 or 6. USPS whim.

BTW, I'm pretty sure its irony.

P.S. I'm sorry to hear about your head...being severed and all.

Hey I got my back issue of 113 in 10 days and I live in AUSTRALIA! Work that one out?!

I can confirm, that back issue delivery to Germany does not take more than two weeks.

On the other hand subscribed issues seem to take 2+ months of delivery time.

=> Are subscribers to switch to back issue ordering?! ;-)

Is there a way to adapt back issue delivery to subscription delivery? I do not mind two weeks of delivery time, but more than two months (still waiting!) are too much!
