Death of Lashimire (Dungeon # 116)

Dungeon Magazine General Discussion

I just wanted to thank the fine people at Dungeon and to Tim Hitchcock in particular for this fine adventure. No only do we finally see psionics used in an adventure but Githyanki as well as they were always meant to be used, with psionics! As if that weren't enough it happens to be a great, albeit short, adventure.

Thanks again and I hope you continue to throw us psionics lovers a bone every now and then.

We certainly intend to support psionics, although probably not more than twice a year. The same goes for Oriental Adventures and Epic Level adventures, in fact.

I also really enjoyed this one. I am just gettin into the psionics. Actually I ran my first installment of a psionic campaign last night. It was actually an Oriental Adventures/Psionics game. Very good times. The two go well together - like peanut butter and fried bananas.

i loved the "doors of flesh & walls of blood" room. evocative to
say the least!

I had a couple questions about this adventure.

First: It has 6 Soulknives at the shack, but in the death squad section it states that 7 soulknives acompany Gythra-Kyharz and only three are sent to the shack while the remaining five(?) stay with her. How many soulknives are there, and where are they?

Second: If Gythra-Kyharz is there to recover her Silver Sword, why is she carrying another one as her stat block indicates?

I thought it was a typo= 3 soulknives instead of six. and the sword Gythra-Kyarz has is only a masterwork silver greatsword not a githyanki silver sword described in the MM.
