You can probably just take the Mimic out of the MM3.5 and increase the size to huge and then use the original stats out of Dungeon 19. I'm not sure that that much has really changed with a Mimic. The MM should have rules for increasing the size of creatures. I know the modifiers fof Grapple and AC based on size are in there.

I would probably put it at gargantuan, actually (I know mimics aren't supposed to get gargantuan, but I'll pretend they can for the sake of coolness ;-)). A gargantuan mimic would look like this:
House Mimic
Gargantuan Aberration (Shapechanger)
Hit Dice: 25d8+175 (287 hp)
Initiative: +0
Speed: 10 ft. (2 squares)
Armor Class: 19 (-3 size, +12 natural), touch 7, flat-footed 19
Base Attack/Grapple: +18/+42
Attack: Slam +28 (2d8+12)
Full Attack: 2 slams +28 (2d8+12)
Special Attacks: Adhesive, crush
Special Qualities: Darkvision 60 ft., immunity to acid, mimic shape
Saves: Fort +17, Ref +10, Will +15
Abilities: Str 34, Dex 10, Con 25, Int 10, Wis 13, Cha 10
Skills: Climb +17, Disguise +33, Listen +16, Spot +16
Feats: Ability Focus (adhesive) x4, Alertness, Great Fortitude, Lightning Reflexes, Power Attack, Weapon Focus (slam)
Environment: Any
Organization: Solitary
Challenge Rating: 10 (?)
Treasure: 1/10th coins, 50% goods, 50% items
Alignment: Usually neutral
Adhesive: Saving throw DCs become 24
Crush: Damage becomes 2d8+12

A house-sized mimic?
The "dreaded" gazeebo in the Munchkin Monster Manual is a construct.
That could be a way to go... a gargantuan contruct! Various objects attack the party as they go room to room. The house itself would be immune to critical hits and have hardness and everything.
Or maybe a House Golem! Then it would also be immune to most magic spells!
Oh, and Medesha... if you come back and tell us that you actually created the House Mimic in 15 minutes, you'll be our resident Goddess. But if you actually wrote it in high school gym when you were 14... you'd be our Supreme Goddess of All That is Cool.

Well, 20 minutes is still pretty impressive. I usually can't formulate a creature that quick.
But since I last posted, I realized that the house could be a gargantuan ooze, similar to a genius loci in the Epic Level Handbook.
I understand that the adventure calls for a mimic, but I'm now intrigued by the other possibilities of an "evil house" like in The Shining, The Amityville Horror, House, The Haunting of Hill House and others.

Hey, yeah! That would be an extremely cool Halloween article, now that you mention it. Maybe the concept would work well as a "backdrop" article.
Now I have one more game idea that's going to sidle its way through my cache of ideas.
--Sorry it's taken so long between posts... I had to get my daughter ready for school, then take her to school. Now I get to go to sleep for a few hours. One of the benefits of working nights. ;)
