how does sunlight affect a drow rogues sneak attack or a drow assassins advantage?

With the necromancer specialization im trying to make my wizard a necromancer. I'm not finding a lot of spells but maybe im missing them My character is currently 5th level so i just got access to raise dead. What spells would you recomend?
I volunteered last night to roll up a rogue for a game in 2 weeks but i have some questions. 1) how does advantage/disadvantage work for a rogue? What should my rogue do to best prepare for it. 2) Optimal weapons for a rogue? 3) Is there any real advantage for an assasin under level 10? Im torn between a trickster and an assassin. 4) Speed was a factor last night for my dwarf mage as i basically missed a turn due to enemys being 2 far away for spells. This allowed the rangers and barbarian to get into the action before me. What race are the fastest rogues? 5) Any tricks such as poison/traps for rogues to use?
Season 2 of the Bridge (second episode). One of the characters is painting what appears to be Fantasy gaming miniatures. Anyone else see this or what company makes them
Big fan of the original Alien/Aliens 2 movie along with other movies such as T1,T2, Predator along with tv shows like DR who.I wonder why after 20+ years that the studios cant see most fans want the sequels to have certain elements For example Aliens 2 had space marines and yet it has never been revisited in all of the sequels but yet many videogames focus on the space marine part so it seems theres an audience for it. Instead we get isolated modern earth scenarios but it appears if we got a modern earth people would rather have a wasteland setting? Predator-Might just be me but my favorite was the first 1 and yet for the most part they have stayed away from the jungle/soldiers. Dr Who-Show is huge right now. I would think a Dalek revised movie based on the first invasion earth story or Peter Cushing story would have a huge market. Even if some of you are sick of them they are still popular and demand for a really good war movie with the DR on earth with possible Unit troops would be a huge success. I'm sure there are others you guys can think of.
Broke out Left for Dead last night for XBOX 360 after shelving it for a long time. I'm now looking for shooter/RPG that has zombies in it and looking for community advice on some games I played fallout 3 which had ghoul's and monsters and i liked that i could switch between first and 3rd person plus as a RPG was fun How does Dead Island/riptide stack up against left for dead and does it have enough RPG to be satisfying? Does Fallout New Vegas have enough Ghouls in it or will i mostly go up against human factions/super mutants Any other recomendations. I'm a big walking dead fan but i've heard that the game is really about choices that influence combat and it may not be what im looking for
Does anyone make tiles for miniature gaming where you could create a town for wargames/rpg. I see a lot of these homemade wargames where soldiers defend/fight in 3d terrain but for the most part its fighting outside or there are maps like heroclix in which the town stays the same. dd like to place tiles down onto a gaming table and create a game in which there is combat outside and inside (zombie invasion, Dr Who etc ). Any ideas. Gamemastery has some store tiles but i didnt see see anything for more modern buildings or other one piece buildings? My goal is to have a green felt board with some 3d terrain such as tree/cars or whatver depending on game and then create a town/village out of tiles

I'm running a star Wars campaign and i need some help. I have a adventure idea in which the players have to land on a moon base to help some miners/soldiers. I'm thinking of there being a separate landing area for the ship and the players having to then use a speeder/land craft to get to the station. The station would have multiple buildings (all connected)with the largest building being the central hub. The station is going to be attacked by droids from all sides Anyone have any good map recomendations for a moon base. Also what should be included for the interior So far i have

I've got this idea based on the last batman movie in which the characters dont have super Powers but go up against villians who do. The villian is controlling part of a city or an entire city such as NY and the characters have to sneak in or are even stuck there and have to stop them. I've been running Star wars D20 Saga and the rules seem to be a good fit with a little fixing. Any good sources for modern weapons and say DC/marvel villian D20 powers.
can you tell us more about those miniatures? Ive never seen that version of the twilight ringwarith and are those goblins? I love the smoke effect |
