![]() I'm looking forward to Outer Worlds 2 as well. The first one had such a quirky, Firefly-esque vibe that hooked me from the start. I wasn't too big on the combat, but the storytelling and the bizarre humor made it worth sticking through. I also played it on the Switch; even though the visuals were downgraded, it was more convenient. For Outer Worlds 2, I plan on switching to PC this time for that smoother experience. ![]()

![]() Feel free to zip the maps I made, as long as you don't claim you made them. I'd appreciate credit in a text file but I won't require it. I didn't release them under a license or anything so I can't really enforce anything, but I suspect my wishes would be respected by this awesome community :) On another note, I had to make a quick edit to the Festering Maze of Sloth map for a drained version, so here it is. Festering Maze of Sloth (drained) - 39x27 Sorry about the lack of Chapter 6 maps, I've been totally drained lately. They are in the works though! ![]()
![]() I'm building a Shield Champion archetype Brawler and running into some confusing/stupid rules. First, Brawler's Flurry states; Quote: Brawler’s Flurry (Ex): Starting at 2nd level, a brawler can make a brawler’s flurry as a full-attack action. When doing so, a brawler has the Two-Weapon Fighting feat when attacking... Does this qualify me for feats that require TWF, or do I have to waste a feat on it making this class feature redundant? Specifically, I am trying to take the Shield Slam feat, which lists TWF as a prerequisite. I doubt that it counts as a prerequisite, but it's kind of silly that I have to take the feat and make that redundant. I plan on asking my DM to houserule that I can only shield slam while I have TWF, which is during a full attack. Secondly, Quote: Unarmed Strike: At 1st level, a brawler gains Improved Unarmed Strike as a bonus feat. A brawler may attack with fists, elbows, knees, and feet. This means that a brawler may make unarmed strikes with her hands full. Does this let me do unarmed strikes as well as weapon attacks in a full-attack? I have BAB 7/2 granting me two attacks. A full attack could mean a total of 6 during a flurry; two mainhand weapon attacks, two shield bashes, and two unarmed strikes (elbows or kicks). Third, Quote:
Why doesn't Shield Champion replace this ability? It's an archetype built around using a shield, and it completely negates this class ability. Fourth, Unarmed Strike says
Quote: A brawler’s unarmed strike is treated as both a manufactured weapon and a natural weapon for the purpose of spells and effects that modify either manufactured weapons or natural weapons. Does this mean I can enchant my unarmed strike with, for example, a +1? Many thanks! ![]()

Thanks a lot Korav for the kind words and of course the Roll20 donation :) I am still working on Chapter 6 maps. It has gone way beyond what my party is ready for but I realize other groups are still using my maps, so I'm working on them whenever I can. I still haven't completed the arena, it's just so huge and somewhat intricate. Anyway, here's another Chapter 6 map. I'm not sure if I missed anything, just let me know if I did. ![]()

I provided both as I plan to swap between the two after my party inevitably removes the fog using wind spells. Anyway, I did a quick map of The Lair of the Hidden Beast. The next map may take a while as it's huge (the arena in Xin Shalast). Lair of the Hidden Beast - 28x20 ![]()
![]() No map to go off of, but there's an encounter with some giants on the road to Xin Shalast. The encounter's titled Giant Sentinels. Giant Sentinels - 56x40 ![]()
![]() Not too happy with it but I'm not sure what else I can do. I'm really not good with outdoor areas. Here's the Vekker's Cabin environs, with and without fog. Vekker's Cabin Environs - 31x37 ![]()

![]() Here to finish off Chapter 5 maps... Halls of Wrath are a little barren, but it gets hard to add in more objects / details with a map that large (it lags so bad in Photoshop!). I probably should've split it up but I figured it'd be nice to have it on one image. Festering Maze of Sloth - 39x27
Thanks to Jacenat for $20! Don't let him be the only one, donate here so I can keep my mentor status! ![]()
![]() Got a few more done. Not sure how I feel about the Iron Cages of Lust or Xin's Stairway (an encounter with no official map, kinda hard to portray overhead view of a mountain... but it'll do I suppose). Anyway, here they are: Xin's Stairway - 29x23
As always, Donate a few bucks to my Roll20 Mentor fund! :) ![]()
![]() Indeed I am working up! I'm not too happy with the Frozen Cathedral, but it'll do. I'm not good at portraying elevation so the ramp is kinda wonky looking. Anyway, I've finished three more maps for Chapter 5; Frozen Cathedral - 34x19

The only reason I decided to remake it is because I was having trouble fitting yours to a grid, and I'm really picky about it matching perfectly. Plus it sounded fun. Anyway, I've done a couple more for Chapter 5, more to come... The Dragon's Lair - 59x22, did 2 maps; one showing the hidden ramp and another without.

![]() Back with a few more Chapter 4 maps! All of these are sized perfectly for Roll20 (70x70 pixels per 5ft square). On to Chapter 5 soon! Part Three: Into the Valley of the Black Tower
Part Four: Under Jorgenfist
Part Five: The Ancient Library
I keep learning and trying new techniques, any feedback on these new ones vs my old ones? Notice any errors or inconsistencies? Let me know. Like what I'm doing? Feed my addiction and help make me a Mentor on Roll20! ![]()
![]() Alrighty! I've got a whole bunch of maps that I feel are finished and ready for sharing. These are all chapter 4 maps. My players are just finishing up chapter 3 so I got a head start on some of the maps I couldn't find. Some I did find ones but I redid them for fun. They're all 70x70 pixels per square, perfect for Roll20. Raid on Sandpoint

I did this hastily, hope it works okay for you. It has quite a few blemishes but I figure after you add the translated text, it should cover them up. ![]()
![]() Made a little map for the encounter in Chapter 3, Part 4, named Mysterious Derelict: http://i.imgur.com/AYJnIgS.jpg There's no fight there but I like to make my players think there might be by giving them a map :P Made for 25x25 units, 70 pixels per unit (standard for Roll20). ![]()

![]() Kinda thought it was odd that there were no battlemaps for the outside areas of Fort Rannick, even though there is plenty of combat there. This was sort of a rush job so I didn't have time to make sure I included every possible detail, but I think it turned out okay. It's HUGE by the way. I basically took the unit dimensions of the original map, which were 20 feet per square, and multiplied it by 4 (to get 4 squares per original square, 5 feet per square). It is 88x116 units, 70 pixels per unit. I probably should have sliced it into multiple maps. It's also pretty highly compressed because I needed it under 5 megs for Roll20. Here's a higher quality (less jpeg compression) version for other uses: http://www.mediafire.com/download/jh9ow7ft6o73c2g/fort+rannick+huge+highqua l.jpg ![]()

![]() Thanks Riding Bull, I'll definitely be using those Fort Rannick maps in a few sessions :) I've just finished my version of the Graul Homestead, here: http://imgur.com/a/GborA ![]()
