They check the bundles of clothes for clues.

Once Thackett returns, they continue to the buildings at A11.

Is it small enough to put in the lockbox from the last building? Am I making this too complicated?

Lanzelett catches her daughter’s eye, then motions to the door, silently signalling that she should pick the lock. The adults take defensive positions around the girl, and quietly she asks Indi What is it?

Indi takes a closer look.

So, does my roll mean I’ve searched the building? Or do I roll again?

They enter with weapons drawn.

The only thing I can’t look up myself is the unidentified gossamer shirt and the unidentified ornate bow.

couple of questions:

Is that 25lbs of silver total?
How much does the rest weigh?
What about the other stuff - potions etc.?
Ness and Indi are both listed as having a home and a handy haversack, but not the others.

Thackett collects the loot muttering about keeping it safe for the owners. Continuing counterclockwise around the village they next search the gate at A8.

They cautiously enter and begin their search. Thackett, suspecting further danger climbs in through the window.

They peek in through the windows.

They pack up the loot, and with no other hints of what went on here, they continue searching. More cautious now, they head as a group to A6.

how much xp for goblin monkeys?

It says she has read magic, but I’m guessing that’s different.

Indi now! Thackett shouts.

Thackett: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 61d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Indi: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 151d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Shoot, am I supposed to add the flanking bonuses, or do you?

I think you missed this one.

Indi carries it for now.j

I’d feel like I was cheating if I rolled this again. Her spell craft is also 8.

My bad, I thought we had. So yes please.

Let’s spread out, but keep in sight of that we’ll. Lanzelett tells the wordlessly assigning the buildings to search.

Thackett takes a4.

Ness takes a3.

Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 16

Indi heads to a6.

Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 5

While Lanzelett searches the two long buildings at the north side of the village a11.

Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23

Could you please make those rolls for them, I’m on my phone.

The four of them check inside the tents one by one.

Great to hear, because I’m having a ton of fun too. I’m still learning what checks to do when. No passive perception is throwing me off. Do they just search without a check?

Also, I am using the spreadsheet on gramps’ iPad and that works fine

Yeah, I trust you. Since you’d need to narrate the result I think that would move things along.

Does Indi make the roll now or on his turn? Also should you be making those kind of rolls in your posts?

Equally fascinated by the creatures as she is frightened, Ness uses a move action to make a perception check trying to learn about the creature. Then, suddenly remembering herself, she fires a jolt spell at the remaining enemy.

Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11

Jolt: 1d20 ⇒ 111d3 ⇒ 3

I couldn't find rules on examining creatures.

Np, I’ll print it up and copy by hand. Gramps has a printer.

It does not, and yes she already has her familiar

Thanks. I’m thinking about printing character sheets to make this easier on myself. Does the spreadsheet export to a PDF or do I just transfer by hand?

Does pathfinder have a passive perception mechanic? Also, does Ulionestra have her familiar already or does she need to summon it or find it or something?

I know that the characters got to choose which spells they prepared for the first day of the adventure. At the same time, Thackett would have chosen Ulionestra as the subject of his divine troth.

Cool. From here on if I have a general question I'll post as the.heart.to.help like I am now, and otherwise I'll make it character specific.

For instance I can't find anyway to have the forum notify me by email that there's a new post. That's a pretty standard feature, but I just haven't found it.

After six long weeks, this morning the crew of the Peregrine sighted land to the west. A few hours later, the Peregrine sails into a natural bay with a sandy beach within rowing distance for the ship’s boats. As the crew begins to untie one of the smaller boats to lower it into the water, the sailors pass a spyglass among themselves and finally hand it back to the captain. Captain Jacob Markosi peers at the island for a moment before grunting and handing the spyglass to expedition leader Ramona Avandth. "You should see this," he says quietly. Ramona accepts the spyglass and peers toward the shore. When she lowers the scope, she is clearly distressed but trying to hide her worry. She approaches and motions toward the far side of the deck, away from where most of the other colonists have congregated. "Can I have a word with you?" she asks.

Hey son, I need a little guidance here. I realized after I posted that. Maybe I should have been replying to this post rather than posting new each time. Also, like I said, I'm not sure about the etiquette around my characters doing things. Do I ask you and you roll, or do I just roll?
