I'm finally back! Sorry I disappeared for longer than I expected, my friends have been hanging out with me every day so I didn't have much alone time lol

Sorry I was missing, had to spend all day at the vet yesterday. One of my dogs was sick all week and we thought he was gonna have to get surgery (low chance of survival though so putting him down seemed the best option) but we got really lucky and it turns out he didn't have the issue they thought originally, so we were able to bring him back home and just have to feed him medicine for a little while and he'll be fine

I'm a little confused, do we use the normal premade characters (Chk Chk, Dae, Iseph, Navasi, Obozaya, Zemir) or does this scenario have its own unique premades?

I'd like to join! I've played a little bit of sf1e, some pf2e, and a few of the playtest adventures (just finished my 4th last night for the Contemplative!)

I ordered the starfinder 2e player core through this website, is that affected by the bankruptcy?

And then another question, does activating a solar weapon count as drawing it? Because the rules on the solarian page say it's a move action, but then the rules for taking the Move Action say that you can combine moving and drawing a weapon if your BAB is +1, so would that apply to the solar weapon too?

First time stepping diagonally is only 5 feet right?

They came out 4 years ago 3-99: Perils of the Past is still SF1e, but Fate in the Future is PF2e. Once SF2e is out, I'm wondering if someday they will do a special like these, but with more direct crossover.

I hope they do, it was a really cool adventure

Dromaar and Aivurin are Common. Because they aren't specifically called out as having any nonstandard availability in the Character Options Page entry for Player Core, they fall under "All options are of standard availability unless specifically noted otherwise" statement.

Being both Common and Standard Availability means you can use those Heritages freely.

Title. I see things saying I can make Nephilim/Changelings but nothing about Dromaar or Aiuvarin. I also didn't see any sort of boon for either the Dromaar or Aiuvarin, so I'm a bit confused as to whether or not I can make a society character with either of those heritages.

I just realised no one in the party has diplomacy, or computers, and only Floots has culture. I slipped 4th level Navasi into the meeting, we can leave her behind on the ship and push on without her, or someone in the party, or I can play her as an NPC PC. If we push on without her, I'm going to need a day or 2 to redo the game prep to deal with working around the skills.

I have diplomacy +7, because it's a Solarian class skill and I put a rank into it (so another 3) and I have a +3 charisma (so 1+3+3 right?)

I added the slides to the game. Please enter your character info on slide 2 and edit one of the character tokens to add your image, or replace it with one of your own token. If you don't have a drone or companion, just leave that section blank.

Sonicnarukami, can you edit Aphelion Leto's profile so their stats show up in the header below your name when you post. You can look at the profiles of the other Characters to see how to format that.

ohhh then it was probably a contemplative. i get a lot of names mixed up but it was definitely not the jellyfish guys but instead the giant brains

yeah definitely the Barathu. they look like they'd be good psychics, given their brain is the highlight of their design. they look kinda silly to me I love it

The ancestry you are thinking of is the contemplative, but this is a Starfinder 1e scenario, so you would only get Starfinder Society 1e credit for playing.

yeah no i know, 2e stuff i look more in person for because theres a bunch of people near me who play so its a lot easier to setup

Hello!! What drew me to Starfinder was first I played a tiny bit of Kingmaker and loved it, then played pf2e a few times at a convention and loved it. Then, I got the Starfinder 1e rulebook because it kinda reminded me of Phantasy Star Online with how it looks (just kinda though) but it seemed fun! Interestingly enough, Starfinder 2e was announced like a week or two after I bought the core rulebook which I would say sums my luck up lmao
