This may be a question that has already been addressed, but I couldn't find it.

Does Charm Monster affect a "Person"? Town guard, barkeep, etc. In other words, would the charm "Monster" spell have an affect on a group of NPC elves in their village, or NPC halflings in their shire, or NPC gnomes in their... wherever the gnomes are living?

Just a couple of questions that have come up in our group.

1) If a character is turned to stone, are all of their items?
2) Is it right to assume that a Medusa can only use her "Gaze Attack" once per round against a single target since gaze attacks state they are an attack action? It was interpreted by one player that because the Medusa's range for the attack was 30, that ALL players within that range, regardless of where they were had to make the save every round. Another player stated that the "Gaze Attack" required an attack action and that the medusa had to "choose a target".
3) Does a Medusa's head/blood have any magical qualities after being severed?

Pretty straight forward.

Bob falls to zero HP and drops prone in front of a mean ol' orc. Steve wants to pick up Bob's sword.

If Steve reaches into Bob's square which is threatened by the orc, and picks up the sword, does the orc get to swing at Steve as an atack of opportunity?

Beginning performance is a standard action. Maintaining it is free. But you can't be interrupted.

Casting cure light wounds requires Verbal and Somatic components.

So... Could he/she?

Does a caster who is reaching INTO a threatened square provoke an attack of opportunity when casting a heal spell on a companion?

eg., Bob is in a fight with an orc. Steve is a healer in Bob's party. Bob and the orc are face to face in squares that threaten each other.
If Steve walks up behind Bob ( who is IN a threatened square ) and reaches INTO that threatened square while HOLDING THE CHARGE of a cure light wounds spell, does Steve invoke an attack of opportunity. Please provide documentation and not just opinion.
