![]() Personally, I think the Finding Haleen trait is overpowered as written, no matter whether the player gets +1 HP and +1 SP over and above their Favored Class bonus or whether they only get +1 HP or +1 SP to supplement their Favored Class bonus. Traits are supposed to be equivalent to half-a-feat. If the player sticks to their Favored Class, at the very least this trait is equivalent to the Toughness feat. Unbalanced. I plan on house-ruling this as it making the Player's starting class a Favored Class, beyond what get due to their race, as well as giving them +1 HP and +1 SP to start with, but that's all. This gives them something similar to the Half-Elf ability to have multiple Favored Classes (depending upon what they choose) and a little bonus to top it off. ![]()
![]() As I am not familiar with the rules for the Ninja class, I cannot make any comments regarding it. However, if you are concerned about your revamped Master Matajinn being able to kill your entire party, my first reaction is "don't let him." After all, you're the DM, right? You don't have to have the bad guy do anything you don't want him to do. But I can also see how that answer might not be exactly what you're looking for. So, in regards to the Scorching Ray issue, I will say that I think it likely that your PCs will be running around with Resist Fire up at all times. They're on the Plane of Fire, after all, and to not do so would be rather foolhardy in my opinion. If so, they likely have Resist Fire 20 or perhaps even Resist Fire 30. Since each ray sent out by Scorching Ray is considered a separate attack and maxes out at 24 damage (average 14), the Resist Fire will apply to each attack individually and most likely block all of the damage. Scorching Ray then becomes a completely useless attack. ![]()
![]() For your consideration: Torgar Hammerfist, Dwarf Monk 1, Lawful Neutral Background:
Several months ago, Torgar decided to undertake a pilgrimage to the Gas Forges in Riddleport in order to learn how to work the rare and ultra hard metals like adamantine. He arrived in Riddleport and approached the overseer of the Forges, but was rebuffed. Having arrived with no tribute, the overseer was not inclined to grant Torgar’s request for apprenticeship. Instead, he gave the young monk a choice: come back with enough rare metal to forge a warhammer or spend the next ten years working the gas lines beneath the forge. Only then would the overseer allow him to learn the ways of the Gas Forges. Preferring not to work the gas lines, Torgar walked out into Riddleport with a quest but unsure of how to achieve it. Thanks,

![]() I've been waiting for the opportunity to play a Dwarven Monk. This one's built with 20 points, but I wouldn't mind at all having an extra 5 points. :) As for campaign, I'm currently in a two PbP games: a Curse of the Crimson Throne game and a Kingmaker game. I wouldn't mind playing any of the others. I'm very familiar with playing PbP games. I've even tried running my own, though I didn't have the stamina to keep it going for long. I can post several time a day during Monday through Friday. I can post a little on the weekends, but not as much. Thanks,
