I'm preparing to DM for a group, and one of them wishes to be a Dragonrider http://paizo.com/store/byCompany/s/superGeniusGames/pathfinderRPG/geniusGui des/classes/v5748btpy8bia

This particular character wishes to charge while mounted with a lance for their weapon.

The nature of the Focus mechanic for Dragonriders is puzzling, would this tactic only work if the Focus required less than a move action to perform?

Furthermore, the lance only requires the mount to be charging to gain double damage (And here's where a disconect happens, since even in a standard mount the creature has its own set of actions too yes?), could this character then use say, a move action to focus their dragon, then have the dragon charge, at the end of the charge could they take their remaining standard action to double damage lance? Or does the Rider have to be the one to Charge, something that is quite confusing when dealing with the Dragon Steed.

In the case of a normal creature like a horse, how does charging work?
You use a full action to engage a charge, your horse moves where you point it and you roll an attack against someone when your horse stops moving? How does Ride by charge interact with this, or the above dragon rider as well?

"At 3rd level, and every two levels thereafter, a sorcerer learns an additional spell, derived from her bloodline. These spells are in addition to the number of spells given on Table: Sorcerer Spells Known. These spells cannot be exchanged for different spells at higher levels."

That's what d20pfsrd says about bonus spells.
One of my fellow players is a fey sorcerer. When 3rd level came around for us he got his first bonus spell, entangle in this case, and our brains all melted. Entangle is a level 1 Druid/Ranger spell. So what level is it for the Sorcerer? Is it now a level 1 Sorcerer (Fey)/Ranger/Druid spell? If he scribed a scroll of it does the universe implode trying to figure out the pricing model?

There's some logical leap we made that it's treated as a 2nd level spell (but I cant for the life of me find anything substantial) and if that's the case he cant even cast it until 4th level at all (even with high charisma like say a 4th level ranger or paladin) since there's an insurmountable - (dash) over 2nd level spells until 4th level on the table.

Shed some light?

Hello, I am about to start the Kingmaker adventure, I've not ran a premade before, what method of stat generation is the standard for my characters to use?
I did not mean to double post, I deleted the other.

Hello! I was looking at bringing the Favored Soul into Pathfinder, but I don't think it warrants a full class. Sorcerer has quite a malleable set of features, so...

I was thinking of a bloodline akin to Divinity or something, we'll call it "Seriously Entitled" or, maybe just "Favored"

Sorcerers are set up as such that at levels
1/3/9/15/20 they gain a thematic class feature power
7/13/19 they gain a bonus feat tying in some sort of theme
3/5/7/9/11/13/15/17 they get an extra spell of arguable usefulness
And to tie it all together they get a Bloodline Arcana power at first level that sets the tone of the class.

The sorcerer setup seems downright perfect for porting over a favored soul and balancing it all at once.

Their bloodline arcana could be...
~Choose a Deity.
You lose access to the Sorcerer/Wizard Spell List and gain access to the Cleric Spell List. Gain Proficiency with your Deity's weapon and a +1 _type_ bonus per N levels on attack rolls/damage rolls while wielding that weapon. Also gain Cha mod to all saves.

So with that the first parts of the actual favored soul are covered, where they use their god's weapon primarily, and compensates for the lack of base attack bonus the sorcerer has compared to the favored soul in complete divine. The Cha mod to all saves works to give the favored soul 'all good saves' as was a class selling point.

The bonus feat path is simple enough, weapon focused to make them more competent with their god's weapon of choice; weapon focus and similar.

Their bloodline powers are a bit tricky, since the favored soul didn't have that many class features to begin with. Wings were a big selling point I think.

Am I undertaking something that's too complex? Does the Favored Soul actually warrant a unique class?
My reasoning is that there are only 2 classes that have the same casting mechanic the sorcerer does and is a full 1-9 caster, the sorcerer and the favored soul, at least as far as I recall.

Any input on powers, and most importantly the bonus spells it gains. In fact, any input at all would be wonderful!
