Also, when gaining levels, can Feats at lower ranks be chosen, or are you limited to each feat rank per said level?

i was also looking at Tail Whip, so for example if i get to choose a Feat2, can i instead choose a Feat1?

I am creating a char and am curious about how some aspects intereact with each other.

The Lizardfolk Razor Claws Feat 1 deals 1d6 piercing. If i were to use the Monks ability of Flurry of Blows, would those attacks gain "piercing" from my Razor Claws feat?

I live in a forest slowly dying due to bug infestation, so I was thinking of an evil arboreal corrupted by its own tree rot with “sickening” abilities.

Looking at the Ability glossary, i came up with this:
Poison ability: an arboreal grenadier of poison mushrooms that grow on it

A new ability to do with insect swarms; a close range attack of bugs

I was curious to know if anyone came up with homebrew arboreal variations. The Bestiary lists warden which they equate to a ranger.

I am going to run a forest game where humans have been expanding and building forts. The arboreals are upset, and retaliate.
So I am looking for arboreal warriors, and any other rypes people may have ideas for based on scenario.

I’ve GMed online via Roll20 Iron Kingdoms rpg, Savage World of Flash Gordon rpg, Forbidden Lands rpg, Conan 2d20; and played dnd 2e, 3e, shadowrun, achtung catulu, and others, I’m sure.

As far as Pathfinder 2e goes, Black Dragon Gaming’s (youtube channel) Dragon Empires playlist is what pushed me to pick up P2 (having heard P1 had a steep level entry. I am liking the rules system but have yet to play it.

My main problem is really in the availability of games online. Unfortunately, my FLGS is not friendly and open to me being there. I didn’t cause any problems, I was just told that I am not wanted there. I have bad eyes, even with corrective lenses, and no one said anything to me except the shouted-out “we don’t want you here”, so I am not really sure, but I think someone with whom I had an issue in college attends the LFGS, and the store-goers disassociated with me b/c they were that person’s friend first. It’s frustrating because I see some of those people at my gym.

I am very much a scenario- or adventure-based pick-up-and-play GM and player that can never find games to play other than those scheduled far in advance that are campaign-based, or games I GM.

I understand pathfinder has Society scenarios, but I must not know where to look to find those; I never see any pick-up-and-play pathfinder 2e scenarios listed on Roll20. In discord, I also cannot find any such games - everything seems to be by appointment.

Am I missing something? Are pick up games something alien to Pathfinder? Can pathfinder society games be run officially online? Help me pathfinder society, you’re my only hope.

Some people want Lord of the Rings instead of more traditional D&D fantasy.

To me, lotr and dnd/pathfinder are both high fantasy.

When I say “low fantasy”, I mean sword and sorcery, such as REH’s Conan. For example, using a torch instead of a light spell just to see; I’ve got a magic finger for ya - my middle finger. J/k; haha.

I am newb to PF as a whole. I am a gm of, among other pulpy systems, Modiphius’ Conan in an Age Undreamed Of 2d20 system/setting, but miss the inclusion of non-human playable races.

For those out there who understand P2 mechanics well, do you think PF2 sword & sorcery adventures are possible? Is there any news of such rules coming in the Gamemastery Guide?

If you're building an NPC, those don't have to follow the rules for leveling PCs. You can basically just create them with whatever feats and abilities you wish.

I know, but I want to publish it as an app in the future, I want to do it right the first time using Paizo standards.

I did a quick search on the forum to find an answer to my question, but could not. So here it is.

To put it simply, for example, can a player character take a Feat 2 when choosing a feat for 4th Level, or is a character limited to Feat 4-ranked feats when reaching 4th level?

I would assume *yes*, but when planning acampaign in Hwanggot, It makes sense for the mother to have passed on, and the daughter who was forward thinking and had her people construct stone forts along their nation’s river border, to become the queen, and for Bacchuan to be at war with Hwanggot and it’s other neighbors; I am making her a level 12 ranger (her main duties are being queen, not ranging), but I want her not to be too combat-focused, so rather than make her dual-classed, I figured I would make it easy on myself, since she is only an npc who won’t be seen much of during the campaign.
