Hi all,

I was wondering how to play a proper orc.

So, if you are playing an orc, what behaviour or attitude do you focus on, to make your group mates "feel" that you are an orc.

Looking forward to hear from you

Best regards

Hi all,

I m wondering if there is any further information regarding the godess Daikitsu besides the small bits and bops provided in the Dragon Empires Gazetteer.

I wasnt able to find any, but probably you know more.

Hi all,

my party will face a group of undead creatures soon. It's a special scenario in which potions, scrolls, wands or any other wondrous items wont work.

I m playing a Kitsune Sorcerer build like this https://paizo.com/threads/rzs2opcd?So-Kitsune-Sorcerer#13

and this is my spell list:

1 Sow thoughts
2 Memory laps
3 Grease
4 Snowball
5 Obscuring mist
6 Entangle

7 Oppressive Boredom
8 Minor Image
9 Hideous Laughter
10 Glitter dust
11 Mirror Image

12 Fly
13 Hold person
14 stinking could
15 Deep slumber

16 Charm Monster
17 Poison
18 Confusion

Weapons
Cross Bow
Spear

Which spell will work against some/all undead creatures?

Which strategy would you recommend besides running very fast?

Any help and advice is very much appreciated

Hi all,

my DM offers my group to chose a weapon that we ll get for free. I am playing a enchanter kitsune sorcerer and so I am only able to use simple weapons:

So what would be your weapon of choice?

PS: Char build is similar to this https://paizo.com/threads/rzs2opcd?So-Kitsune-Sorcerer#13

Great, thank you for that hint.

HI all,

reaching the next character level, I took creating wondrous items as a feat. Since I am really overwhelmed by the idea crating my own stuff, I d like to know, what you did with that feat so far.

WHAT were your best / most interessting / funny self done PF items?

Items that fit to the SORCERER class are even more than welcome.

Great! I am going to choose the metamagic.

Hi all,

I am about to play a Kitsune Sorcerer, Bloodline Fey, focused on enchanting, at 9th character level

The build is very close to that one:

http://paizo.com/threads/rzs2opcd?So-Kitsune-Sorcerer#13

Although focussing on enchantment, I don't want to become a total "one trick pony”

I would appreciate if you could have a look on my spell list and let me know if you would change something.

1:
Sow Thoughts
Hypnotism
Grease
Obscuring Mist
Enlarge Person (not sure since many party members have buff spells)

2:
Minor Image
Glitterdust
Mirror Image
Command Undead ( since we are facing undead from time to time)

3:
Hold person
Fly
Stinking Could
(Fireball and Haste are on my list for higher levels)

4:
Charm Monster
Confusion (not sure about this choice)

Is there anything missing or could be improved?

Thanks in advance for your help

Regards

Hi all,

I am about to play a Kitsune Sorcerer in a jungle environment. I would love to make it an enchanter, since from his origins it should be a peaceful charakter that rather influences others than blasting em.

On the other hand many foes we face are plants.

Is there any way (pe by feats or multi classing) to enchante plants?

Thanks for your input so far. Especially the TV shows sound promisssing. If anybody anybody would describe, how he acted as a Kitsune when playing one, I would be thankful.

Hi all,

for some reasons my GM wants me to play a Kitsune (sorcerer). Although I didnt have any issues creating a proper working build, I am still struggling with the question how to make this character as "realistic" as possible.

I am looking forward to get some proposals which behaviour/manners/attitudes a Kitsune should show from your point of view.

I d like to avoid playing a "human with a tail".

Maybe some traditional asian folklore elements,.....

Dont hesitate to let me knwo about your ideas.

Hi all,

at the moment I am playing a pretty nice vanara swashbuckler and I really enjoy the "opportune parry and riposte" deed.

Especially the riposte part is amazing.
I know it's possible to get more chances to parry per round, since there is "combat reflexes"

Is there any chance to increase the number ripostes per round. p.e. by getting more swift/immediate attacks.

Thank you for your answer and your help Bob.

>>>It seems to imply it's related to the grappled condition, but as-is a White-haired Witch that pins someone with their hair would lose their Dex to AC.<<<

I am wondering, if this the common understanding? How do others see this?

Hi all,

my GM and I discussed the following question but didn't come to any solution:

The white-haired witchs hair can grapple a foe, without any risk for the witch getting grappled herself.

Can the witchs hair also take further "grapple actions", for example pin the foe during the next round.

And if yes, would this be a swift or a standard action?

If yes: Would the witch get the grapple condition then?

Hi all,

after several years of story- and character-background-based roleplay gaming, I will start playing an optimized (one could say: power gaming) character.
Since I am not too well used to the pathfinder system, I would appreciate if you could support my optimization.

The character is a catfolk ninja, using 4 natural attacks (2 claws + bite + hair (white hair witch))*, but to be efficient he needs to deal sneak damage.

Since sneak damage is dealt when the DEX bonus to AC is denied, I tried to find situation in which this actually happens and found several:

1) Foe is flat footed
2) Ninja is invisible
3) Foe has condition blinded
4) Foe has condition stunned
5) Foe is grappled
6) Foe is flanked

Questions:

- Are there any other conditions or ways to make a foe lose his DEX bonus on AC?
- Which ways do you know to reach these conditions? I know for instance that flash powder is a great way to make foes blinded.

I am looking forward to your advice. Thanks in advance

ruebly

*my GM agreed on that concept so there is no need for further discussions on that.
