The trio free the dwarves, whose story checks out. They were captured by pirates and the pirates paid the guild to house the dwarves until the ransom was paid. The trio gather up the evidence against the guild, ensure Robella and the skulk are still locked up and go see the sheriff.

The sheriff is amazed at the information the trio deliver to her, and then sees the evidence as well. She declares the Carnival free of all murder charges and sends word through the town the carnies are innocent and the guild was responsible. The sheriff and her deputies go and collect the two prisoners in the guild hall.

The guild hall did contain stolen goods and property and the sheriff felt it best to return that property to its rightful owners, which will take some time.

The crowds return to the carnival and performances sell out. The town seeks a replacement for the kindhearted Sister Woodmere, as well as guardians for the Braeton children. Chelaxians and Varisians set aside
their differences in an annual memorial to the victims. A greater understanding is reached, and the community grows even stronger.

Sol hears the strain and pain in the mans voice and believes they are prisoners

Sol stands guard and the ladies continue searching down the hallway...
Three cells line the back wall towards the east... each cell contains a straw pallet and three buckets...two figures are in the northern and center cell... upon closer inspection the figures are revealed to be dirty and bruised dwarves...once the ladies get close one of the dwarves sees them and then taps the other to wake up...

"Pssst! Free us....we are merchants who were taken by pirates...please by the gods free us from this wretched place..." one of the dwarves calls out...

Hana opens the door and steps inside the room. A heavy metal chair with straps mounted on high, flat arm rests sits against the center of the north wall. To one side is an unlit brazier, and to the other is a small table covered with metal instruments that look painful. Two more comfortable looking chairs sit directly across from it. Some blood marks stained the floor.

The trio manage to lock up the skulk and Robella in the vault and then Sol stand watch int he hallway while Hana goes and checks the other rooms.

Hana opens the door and sees a long wooden table in the center of the room surrounded by chairs. Covering the surface of the of the table are several maps and diagrams. A hand sized map of Ilsurian is nailed to the north wall.

Hana and Clarissa look over the contents on the table and discover evidence.

The diagrams on the table paint a grimmer portrait of the guild's activities: sketches of Archivin Walder's path home from the circus, notes on who should work the pick-pocketing distraction at the carnival, and ideas on where to string up the body of Filton Legg. Lastly, there is a list of the pathfinder newcomers, described in brief statements based on their appearance. The name of the Sol, whom Borvius impersonated, is circled prominently. All these documents serve as hard evidence exonerating the Umbra Carnival.

You move Robella into the nearby room. You discover the key in your possession opens up the locked back room from earlier. You unlock the door and find what can be called a vault on the other side of the door. Inside this room you see few exotic weapons on display: a madu, a rope dart, and an urumi. The other items here aren't worth much (4 gp at most), and many in Ilsurian find them weird or disturbing. The curios include a skull covered in rusty red paint, a mummified elf ear, a vial of preserved basilisk droppings, a broken piece of mammoth tusk engraved with lewd images, a set of"vampire fangs" that look suspiciously like dog teeth, and a book bound in goblin skin.

The trio manage to put Robella down before she recovers from the spell. They search her and discover she had on her possession enough materials to make 8 more bombs to throw, 2 cure light wound potions, a set of magical bracers, dagger, additional alchemical supplies and a master key...

bypassing the spellcheck rolls, three casters on the team someone would have gotten it right

Hana enchants her weapon and then casts a spell on the female foe...

and Robella is stunned for 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5 and is blinded and drops everything she held in her hands...

you are correct. ranged touch. so you do take the 7 points of damage, Clarissa takes 4 splash damage unless she makes a REF save vs DC 15 to take 1/2 damage

"Your aim is pitiful...try mine" she says and throws the bottle in her hand at Sol...

Ranged bomb throw: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15...DMG: 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (2, 3) + 2 = 7 and the bomb flies across the air exploding off of the clerics armor as he turns away at the last second avoiding the damage...

Hana mixes up the alchemical equipment and then looks at the book. It appears to be a log book of sorts; outlining guild activities and scores and listing guild member names but by their nickname. If deciphered it could be used as evidence against the guild...

Sol hears something behind him and turns to see a human female standing by the doorway finishing off a potion and then she says "Are you the ones causing me so much trouble?! If you did anything to my husband, you'll find knives in your backs!" and she grabs another potion intending to throw it...

Hana finds the door unlocked...she opens it to reveal a small room.
A desk sits to the south of the room covered in alchemical equipment and supplies. A cot with an extra padded mattress rests against the far wall. A small chest is at the foot of the cot. A book lies mixed in with the lab gear.

Sol discovers the keys found on the skulk do not open the door. The group knows there are other rooms still left to search once they back out of the room the skulk was in...

Sol searches the room and finds nothing of interest. He then searches the skulk and finds a set of keys tucked in her tunic. The cleric then moves into the small room. This room is bare except for several tall stacks of crates and boxes. Many of them are labeled to addresses and
ports of call other than Ilsurian. Sol sees nothing amiss with the next door or doorway save for the fact that it is locked... and stoutly locked...

The skulk moves to attack Hana but Sols readied action comes first striking the creature and knocking it down bleeding... the skulk does not move...

There is a small room where the skulk came from with crates in it...outside this room back towards the direction you came from you hear noises of heavy items being moved...

Hana quickly strides across the room and strikes at the skulk with her blade hitting the creature hard while Clarissa blocks the doorway to get out...

Hana listens but does not detect anything. She tries the door and finds it is unlocked. She opens it and sees a padded cot sits to the south, with a platter of chicken bones picked clean sitting on the floor next to it. To the north is a large, empty crate. The stale scent of body odor permeates the air.

Right as Hana opens the door a skulk walks in from the room in the back, sees Hana and reacts violently at the intrusion...

Hana opens the door and sees a hallway with three additional doors on the right side and a hallway that also goes to the right. There are crates at the near end of the hallway labeled as market goods. They do not detect any signs of life and motion for Sol to cross the room.

Hana opens the door and find stuffed training dummies line the south wall, crude faces drawn on their heads. Along the east wall are pegs mounted at eye level, some of which have a change of clothing hung on them and nicknames scrawled on the wall above. Three doors lead east, west (where you entered), and north. A rope ladder hangs from the ceiling by the west door and goes up through a five foot wide shaft to the floor above.

The man exits the room and takes a right down the hallway to a ladder and climbs up leaving your view... you have a door to your front... it is unlocked...

"I dont know how many. the numbers always change. I've only been back there once. And she has a lot of potions. I dont know any more."

you can tell he is being honest and seems to have no more information to give

"I dunno...i am low level. I just know they have some cause i heard one o the guys talking about it once. Her name is Robella and she is mean. Everyone think her and Borvius are lovers. But then you all stopped that didnt you. I would flee if I were you. Can I leave?"

Sol knocks the defiant thug out with a quick strike to the face and the man splatters on the floor.

Darvo jumps in his seat at the move and stays there looking stunned.

"Dont you say another word you traitor!" the defiant thug says to the talkative thug.

"I just want to leave here. Alive. If they are here then Borvius is dead, get it they killed Borvius. I am not dying over her."

you get the sense he is telling the truth and that the other one is really mad. 'His' meant Borvius

"Look, we were all hired by Borvius to help him and her steal from the area. The warehouse is his cover and the shop is hers. Anyone that got in their way were framed or targeted. That is what I know."

"Look i just needed the coin for a job...i have kids to feed... let me go and i will tell you what i know..." the one called Darvo says ignoring the glares of his companion.

"Im not telling you nuthin'....and you keep quiet Darvo!" the one who wanted to stand says defiantly..

one of the man makes a sudden move to get up after Hanas comments but the two swords out and leveled makes him stop and give pause...

"What do you want" the other man asks...

Then men freeze and keep their hands on the table...

"How did you get here?" one of them demands...

"You should not be here... leave while you still draw breath" the other says...

Sol motions to Hana that he hears two voices inside....possibly playing cards....the others motion to Hana they are ready and Hana opens the door with a quickness and reveals two human males at a table indeed playing cards, the men look surprised to see the trio in the doorway and the men eye their weapons nearby...

The trio continue down the tunnel. Hana stops when she comes to the T intersection in the tunnel. There is a door to their immediate right, a door to their left and a door to their front.

Hana climbs down and sees it is a fairly long tunnel. There appears to be a door at the end of it to the south and maybe a hallway branching off to the right. Seems odd that a warehouse has a tunnel underneath its foundation...

the coin falls down about 10 feet and provides light at the bottom of the ladder. the trio sees a well worn and used dirt floor with tracks heading off deeper down the tunnel.

Sol knocks the man unconscious and rejoins the ladies. Hana points to the trap door in the floor... Hana opens the trap door and reveals a ladder that goes into a shaft underneath the floor...the shaft is dark and Hana can see there is a tunnel but cannot determine the depth or direction without additional light...

Bertyn gives a snicker after Clarissa comment and mutters under his breath...'...if he survives...ha...'.. and tries to escape as soon as the trio leave the room...

The group searches the adjacent room (D4) and see that it is nothing more than a storage closet filled with cleaning supplies (brooms, mops, buckets)...
They then search the main warehouse area and see that it appears to be a regular warehouse, nothing ominous about it...there is a locked door at the north east corner of the warehouse...and there is the Hana discovered trap door in the floor...

"Just kill me now then" the man says bluntly...

the man slowly places his short sword on the desk..."Just let me go, you can search the place all you want then."

Clarissa manages to convince the thugs she means business and the non laughing one grabs his partner and backs out of the room....

Bertyn behind the desk freezes seeing his thugs leave and yells out to them calling them cowards...

Borvius was the man with 2 swords that tried to 'protect' the children from you all back at the manor. You all killed him.

"Where can we find 'him'... ha. I think you already know where you can find him if i am seeing you here now. And you dont scare me with that fancy little stick little one."

Hana causes the door to open and the two women see a sleeping figure slumped in a chair behind a desk...

Meanwhile the man detained by Sol says "I've told you all I know. Let me go."

"I dont know nuthin about that Braeton business" the man says looking away...once again you feel he is lying...

Clarisaa and Hana open the door to what appears to be the records room. Cabinets stacked with paper line the walls. There are additional doors on the southern and western walls. Muffled snoring can be heard coming from the southern wall.

"If Borvius sent you here then why would you look for him here? That looks like Borvius bottle you just drank."
