Hey all

Due to our previous encounter with PC summoner the GM decided that
any PC may only have a single semi-permanent follower/companion/minion.

I am currently planing on creating a wizard necromancer and was wondering
how this would affect me:

1) Will animate dead necromancy still be viable?

2) And what can I do in order to maximize the potential of the
single undead I am allowed to control?

Cheers

Hello

Though some magical mishaps my sorcerer just got himself a full blown
animal companion. It is a bear (the one that starts small and grow medium from the CRB)

My GM has granted me permission to level him as I see fit up to my level
lvl 12. And using retraining I can switch out some spells
to get a better compliment as to buffing my acon. (I got the share spell feature that allow me to cast personal spell on the acon).

So I was wondering what good items, feats and spells to help this fellow contribute. Note it don't have to be able to put up jaw dropping large numbers just 'nuff to not be complete irrelevant.

Obvious items: AoMF, CoR
I was also thinking of going for a mithril chain-mail as to not blow a
feat on light armor prof.

Spells: Animal Growth, Shield, Enlarge Person, False Life, Heroism

I am very unsure about feats tbh and also if it is worth putting a point
in int as to make it a int 3 acon. Is imp. nat attack worth it?
It also should have somewhat decent defense as I would pref it not to die as its not for sure that I get another if it dies.
However, it is not intended to be the main line of defense.

Lots of rambling, anyway builds or ideas (even weird yet cool ideas) are very welcome :)

I have a hard time envisioning a TWF build that works,
(it does not have to be a fighter build, any class will do).

And I was wondering with the introduction of the hybrid classes
and all the feats surrounding them, what is the most effective
TWF build these days?

Efficiency for me is not only about DPR though it is nice to hit
something every once in a while.
Note: I do not care if the 2H build is better, just what viable
TWF build that actually exists...

Hello all :)

Im making a (human) sorcerer that is kinda build around being a ray
caster, but im worried that my to-hit would be too low.

The build is for lvl 11.

Currently:
Bab +5
Dex +4 (16 + 2 (from belt))
Weapon Focus(Rays) +1
And if im lucky and the target is close I get +1 from PBS as well.
This totals up to: 10 or 11 (with PBS).

I am not too keen on doing any dips that halts my sorcerer progression.
So basically what I am looking for is items or feats / smart spell usage.
That can help me hit those guys!

Things that I have though about:
- Quickend True Strike
- Greater Hat of Disguise (into small char for +2 dex and to +1 size to hit)

Anything else?

Do you add the enhancment bonus of the bow to the damage?

Say you have a magic +3 longbow, is the damage 1d8+3 or 1d8 + 0?
In my group I get the last result. And I think this is wrong, but I
need to know where it is in the core rulebook to convinse them otherwise...(note im NOT talking about mighty composite thats adds str to dmg).

Ofc, I might be wrong...

Hey

Last session I was playing my magus, and I had cast mirror image (so I had like 5 more of me), I then cast reduce person on my self.

The GM then said that I would become small as per the spell, but that
all my mirror images would remain medium. I disagreed.

After some discussion, he decided that for this time the mirror images would become "reduced" alongside with me provided that I asked here for
your guys opinion.

So, do the mirror images become small or do they remain medium?

Hello all!

Last night my magus died after a longtime struggle with a plague :)
So I had to roll some new stats (since im the minority when it comes to a
love for point-buy systems).
I am therefore at a loss on what character to make. I like having
characters that exels at something and are not "okay-ish" at everything.
So drawbacks are sort of okay.

Partywise: A rogue, fighter (tank), paladin (shield dude), wizard(a bit of everything), and a sorcerer(blaster).

The rules are that I have three different "lines" of stats.
I pick one of these and are allowed to interchange two stats e.g switch str and dex (ofc only within the same line)
Besides that everything from Paizo is okay. I get one trait, standard starting gold (6000g for a lvl4)
(Oh and the summmoner class is banned)
I expect the campaign to last til like level 7-8 ish so don't worry about endgame.

Lines:
str: 11, dex:7, con:11, int:15, wis:16, cha:12

str: 12, dex:14, con11, int:13, wis:11, cha:12

str: 8, dex:12, con:14, int:15, wis:14, cha:13

So any cool level 4, concepts that could be fun to play? (That I do got the stats for)

Hey all

I am playing at tattooed sorcerer atm, lvl 6, and are soon to hit lvl7.

So some questions concerning the 7th lvl su "Create Spell Tattoo".
1) Does it basically work as a free spell of your highest lvl once per day?
For 7th lvl -> I would pick Summon Monster III (or fireball for fun)

2) Do my feats apply to this? (Augmented Summoning, Spell Focus:Evocation for the fireball - for the bump to DC)

3) Is it cast at my sorcerer CL? (e.g. +1 CL due to Varisian Tattoo)

4) Does my bloodline affect it? (e.g. Draconic - Electricity, +1 per die for Lightning Bolt)

5) Can I use meta-magic such as Intensified Spell on the scroll?

6) Does creating use a spell slot (as in I "cast" it on the scroll)

Sorry if this should be self explanatory by reading the feat description.
