Welcome to Wardens of Sulfur Gulch, from the glance of lvls we are in high tier with 7 people as it will roll up.

Below is information I will need to fill out Chronicle sheets

Character Name: Samuel Cabot but you can call him Sam
Lvl:11
PFS Number:132236-5
Faction:Liberty's Edge
Day Job:none

ok, I have our stat blocks ready except my phantom Whisper. I have not figured out how to create a companion "identity" without creating a new PFS ######-#. the stat block is ready in a word doc. it just needs to be copied and pasted.

Questions- is this where we will be playing?
do I just keep checking I here?
how do Cameron and I get notified it is our turn?

is there something you are waiting for me or my son to do?

sorry for all the questions, I am just nervous about how all this works and do not want to hold you folks up.

Hi guys,

If I need to withdraw so that Michael and his son can get a spot in this game I would gladly do so.

I know they have been looking for a game to play together. ;-)

you really didn't need to do that Enora. We could have, and where fine with waiting. But since it sounds like a done deal...

Cameron and i thank you.

Crap, i got to get their stat blocks together.

thanks once again Enora!

any pertinant information:

Quote:
my son (gunslinger) and I (spiritualist) are interested but only together, so if that second table opens up...

Michael and Cam: Is your play history recorded on pfstracker.net? If it is please give us your usernames, I am sure one of the amazing GMs at this lodge is willing to run something that you haven't played.

AWESOME! I figured there was something like this that you folks were using! i had been tracking through NWPFS.org where they had a a spot for it. but recently it appears that they stopped supporting it so this is perfect timing. though it is going to take me a bit to transfer the info.

So, to needlessly reiterate. no, I have not registered my son and my scenarios played at that site, but will do so ASAP.

thank you for the heads up Magabeus!

now to work registering!

"Dotting" is the process of posting in the gameplay section / tab of a campaign so that it appears under your "Campaigns" in your profile. People usually then delete the post so as to not clutter up the gameplay section with non-gameplay posts.

There are lots of different methods of recruitment at this lodge. First come, first served, lottery and GM selection are the main ones. The recruitment post will almost always include a link for where to go. The original post here or the linked post will generally describe the specific recruitment style being used for that particular game.

thank you for the response

so....

you just type the word dot as a response to the original invite, or is there some kind of formatting involved?

Hi Michael.

Good to see you took the plunge. I've got a scenario to finish up, and then I'll look to run one.

It will be closer to the first of December.

You will find something soon I'm sure. Lots of games opening up after Gameday is ending.

Hi Carrie,

I feel like I'm in a train station where all the trains are whizzing past and I see folks boarding the trains but I cant figure out how.

One of the GMs kindly offered me to join in a game which got me excited until I saw that it was one that we had already played in.

That made me despair because I realized that the route of having someone scoop me up was likely beset with frustration seeing as we have played/ run a lot of scenario's and I don't want it to turn into a string folks asking me to join in a game only to have me respond that I have already played it.

At this point I figure I just need to join something for Cameron and I. but I cannot figure out this whole 'dot' thing.

I have read through all kinds how to's for formatting and etiquette but I seem to be missing the "how to join a game"

the only thing I have been able to figure out is that it works something like picking sides in dodge ball.

Alright, this is my first attempt at this.

Probably going to mess it all up...

The people at my regular Pathfinder Society game group highly recommend play-by-post so i'm trying it.

quick history as a hand shake.

I'm a 50 year old gaming veteran (No, not a military veteran. I've just been plating for many years). my 19 year old son and I have been playing Pathfinder as a duo (meaning our characters are pretty much joined at the hip) for a bunch of years. We are looking to try play-by-post and my understand of play-by-post is very shaky.

we are looking to join in a scenario that is starting up.

we have a character duo locked and loaded (a 1st lvl leshy Kinetisist (mine) and a 1st level Wayang Magus(his))

I don't know what else you need or actually how you folks are going to respond to this.

I'm including my email address as a back up

lee-a-michael@centurylink.net

i hope this is at least somewhere near where i need to be.

thank you for your attention and patience.

I think it's great y'all play together. I can't wait to play with my kids.

I was nervous when he was younger that he would not be into RPGs, but I lucked out.

Welcome, Michael!

You're in the right place :)

I am certain a Venture Officer and/or some other friendly people will be along shortly to answer any questions you may have.

If you have a moment, might I suggest you read the first two posts of ... >>CLICK HERE<< by way of an introduction to Play by Post?

Cool. thank you, i'll look it over.

Hello Michael,

That number is registered to an account with Cameron's name on it. I see 8 characters on the account. I'm going to move this thread to the Website Feedback forum so the tech team can see it and look into why it may not be auto populating.

cool, thanks

My son Cameron Lee and I have been playing our characters at the local mall for years. We sign up like normal every session he with his registration number, I with mine. Recently, the venture captain revealed that my son's number was never actually registered and does not populate when he reports. I got the number from him several years ago when he first started playing and just kind of assumed it was registered. he has 9 characters attached to that number and most of which are decently high in level. What can be done now to register the number proper-like?

His name is Cameron Lee and his number is 79565

Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Michael Lee

I have been playing Pathfinder Society for a couple years now and have made an account on this website (obviously). I have created 8 characters and while my record keeping on them has been pristine, my account on this website is a messy tangle of cats, it is so messy I have let it go to pot. Now I am trying to untangle the mess and it is giving me a headache. Just putting it into words is a struggle , but I will do my best here.

Here we go:

I have a profile called Michael lee 83 on to which I have my wizard character Ævard. But then I have somehow created the following aliases off my profile:

Michael lee 83: wizard; Ævard 132236-3
Michael lee 52: sorcerer, Mortimer 132236-2
Michael lee 467: nothing
Michael lee 142: druid, Sesslan 132236-4
Samuel Cabot: 132236-5

I don’t remember how I created the aliases, but I do not understand why the one character (the wizard) is the “main profile” while the rest are just “aliases” and why are some are ‘my name #’ and the one is ‘character name’?

All I want is to have a generic profile Michael Lee with aliases that just have the names of the characters, like so:

Michael lee: 132236
Mortimer, sorcerer 132236-2
Ævard, wizard 132236-3
Sesslan, druid 132236-4
Samuel Cabot, Spiritualist, 132236-5 etc.

I’m also concerned that if I do get it all rearranged, then all the scenarios will not be matched up with the characters they are supposed to be with.

Any help would be appreciated.

to all appearances it appears that the spell grants the extra HP though I think it was an oversight on the writers' part. If allowed, I would half the HP then add the extra from the construct trait because the spell as written instructs you to half your HP but the construct you are controlling while made up of part of you is not you, it is a construct you are controlling.
