I agree with some of the others that it seems a little complicated and time consuming. I did not say that it is not useful. I would say that it is something you would probably not pull out of the game box every night but perhaps when it might be relevant in a situation, a periodic role playing check, or to prove that the paladin is at best neutral but most likely evil.

Of course if you like numbers none of that probably matters to you. And I think that you should at least pay a little attention to the alignment for role playing. I don't think it should matter for most if they just float in and out of alignments.

I once played a stonelord paladin and asked if we could reason with the orcs that did not do use any harm.

Thanks. You guys were a great help.

Alright I think I will go 2WF with @ gladius.

Does anyone think the tiefling only feats are any good. I was thinking of getting grasping tail since I will have a tail. That way I could fire a hand crossbow, drop it, pick it back up with my tail, and draw a weapon.

I hadn't considered it. I did not know what I would use if I went the two-handed. I admit that option does intreage me. How would you go about doing it? How ever it might not really be an option since I went for the optional Tiefling traits and wound up with 2 abilities for the price of the spell like ability which is what the bite replaces. The abilities were +1 Natural Armor and the ability to see on the Ethereal Plane. I suppose I could try to see if the GM would let me put a rat folk tailspike or a kobold tailspike on my tail.

If I did go TWF I think I would go duel Gladius. Or maybe just one in my off hand.

Hmmm. Never considered the monk dip. I'm not sure what to think about that.

It has been suggested that taking favored enemy Dragons as the first favored enemy would be a good idea for this campaign and I was told nothing else. So I found the Yokai Hunter Inquisitor archetype. Any thoughts?

I think I have narrowed the combat style down to TWF and THF thanks to you guys. You have made some excellent arguments for both cases nate lange. Any further advise?

I have decided to be a tiefling. I am no longer sure about my ranger fighting style. I just know that I do not want archery or mounted combat.

I'm playing with 2 other guys and I am the skill monkey/sneaky person. I haven't yet decided on a race but I was thinking dwarf, aasimar, or tiefling. My goddess is Dessna and I chose the luck domain. For part of my back story I was going to be a roadwarrior in Isger fighting to keep the roads safe. I kind of want to do Two-Weapon fighting for my Ranger side. I have not decided on the Hunter's Bond. I might just go with the animal companion.

I forgot Elves got those proficiencies. That would solve weapon choices and save maybe a feat or 2.

I suppose Breath of Life would be better than nothing and I can still get an item to give me poison immunity.

I was thinking of going the smoke bomb route. Infusion and Alchemical Allocation are almost required in my opinion.

I really like the idea of a crossbow using alchemist but the more I think about it the worse crossbows sound. I might just be better off taking Martial Weapon Proficiency feat and use something from that. Maybe a Longbow.

However I don't really want to have to get on the front lines to be effective as there are going to be 3 other players trying to do just that and a 4th summoning stuff and a rangers pet. And almost every map we have played on has been close quarters. I anticipate some larger quarters soon but...

I was also trying to think of good poison using weapons. If I have it might as well use it right?
I do like the idea of the chirurgeon but it seems a little to much fluff for me

I'm still relatively new to pathfinder and would like some help in a build. I'm in a Rise of the Runelords campaign (no spoilers please) and my lvl 8 Hedge Witch died of massive damage due to a trap. I decided to reroll a lvl 9 Alchemist (we gained a lvl)

I was the group healer but we rarely took enough dmg to justify the amount of healing stuff I took. I don't mind a slight healing roll. My DM okayed a Healing bomb discovery. I'm kind of looking for a buff/controller build or just mainly support.

We have heavy damage dealing monk, a bow and Dorn Dergar toting dwarven ranger, an Ifrit Magus that will always go first, and the other guy is going to reroll a summoner.

I am open to suggestions everything including equipment, potions and poisons to carry around. I will have about 23,000gp to play with I think. I was thinking about using a heavy crossbow and taking some of the crossbow feats.
