Anyone else heard of this lately? Our precious snowflakes want camera phones. check. They get them from their love starved parents. check. Precious snowflakes take nude photos of self, send to friends, lovers, teachers, etc.. check. Children go to court facing charges of CHILD PORNOGRAPHY ?????? HUH ? Seriously...this is happening folks...
Ok, now I'm thoroughly pissed... I don't know about you, but I am sick and tired of hearing about our "elected public servants" dipping into our damned pockets... This is why I refused to get into the hoopla with Obama, because frankly, it's just a matter of time (IMHO). Your thoughts?
Ok, I believe I've finally come out of the closet and decided to say this... As a thirty-nine year old, playing for the past twenty-eight years, this recent concept of "rules lawyers" is something completely new to me. Original AD&D was wise enough to put a caveat on the very opening page to say that the rules are entirely dependent upon the interpretation of the DM and that the DM's word is final. This demanded that a covenant be created between the DM and the players that they understand a few necessary facts A) We're all here to have fun
However, thanks to RULES LAWYERS...this has somehow changed. Rules are now to be used *against* the DM and not there for the DM to run a cohesive fantasy world. It has devolved into a sincere "us vs. you" mentality. As a DM, I abhor this. I don't LIKE to see people have a bad time. I like to see people have heroic fun !!! Even playing in other people's games I do my best to remember that they are the DM, the GOD in this world...and not to get all upppity or declare "hey, that's not what the rules say"..at times I've faultered, but in the end, I try not to. I try to talk to the GM privately and work something realistic out. And DM's, this requires that you be open to suggestions and not develop a case of megalomania... Can't we all try to adopt this?
I am SOOOO sick and tired of everyone's fascination with their wittle pussycat!!! If you fall into this category... - your cat is not some master prowler/predator..it's a fat lazy critter who has figured out that you will feed it.. - your cat is not that funny - you yourself are not somehow like your cat... and my last piece of advice is to all the fellas out there...if you meet a gal, and she's awesome...fantastic..interesting...cool...but has MORE than ONE cat ? Spoiler: .......run.... ...quickly.... .dontlookback. You're better off with a serial killer
Currently have a good crew of adults playing on monday nights in Denver (right off of I-25 and Yale). Not the best roleplayers, but good friends who enjoy gaming together. Need a new player who might be able to take over the reigns of DM'ing from me after the current RoRL campaign I'm running. Contact me, flynnster at rocketmail dot com.
Dear Paizo, Love the new products. I truly do. I'm already thinking of switching my gaming group over to the new Rise of the Runelords campaign. However, I was pained when I turned the books over and found that both Pathfinder and the new Game Mastery modules are all made in China. Wow, how do I go on here. I understand that the reason is because it is cheaper for Paizo to have the work done in China. I grimaced even when WOTC decided to make their labor intensive D&D minis in China, but figured not to say anything because of the labor involved. But printing??? Come on. I realize you are using high quality glossy paper, and full color print (including full color artwork). WOTC currently does their work in pure B&W on standard medium weight paper. Do we, as gamers, NEED the gloss and the damned glitz ??? NO !!! PURE CONTENT!!! Here's my $.02 suggestions.. - Print in B&W. Keep the PDF's in full color. That way, if we (the gamers) really dig some of the art or want to use it as a show and tell session for the players eyes, we can print that out ourselves at our own leisure. - Print on standard medium weight (not sure for the trade name of the quality of paper) paper that WOTC uses. I am certain you'd save a bundle on the paper simply not being glossy in the first place. Let's face it Paizo...you've increased the price. And yes, I do realize that in becoming Pathfinder instead of Dungeon and or Dragon, you now no longer print advertising to help recover your costs and profit. But quite honestly...I'd pay the full subscription price you're asking for your GREAT product as a PDF only. I realize my ideas are not necessarily going to solve the whole picture but the bottom line is as follows.... As Americans, we need to stop sending our dollars over to China. We need to take pride in what we make and buy once again. Just like the campaign from the 80's. To the powers that be at Paizo...you know how to contact me if you're taking any of my suggestion in the least bit serious. And if you are so inclined, please do so. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this. Sincerely, Flynn - a dedicated Paizo customer.

The name is Flynn, and I've just moved here two weeks ago. Looking for a group that is serious but sincere, and have a fun time playing. Interested in 3.0 or 3.5, Prefer Forgotten Realms, but could try more Eberron. Also, more than willing to DM either full time or off/on. To me the ideal group is a fifty/fifty mix of role playing and adventure. Contact me at flynnster@rocketmail.com
Alright, I've had it..WHAT is the breakdown for usage of special characters in annotation to critters in statistic blocks ? For instance, Issue #128, November, The Champion's Belt....Page 48... Stat Block for Auric....is the notation of a "B" ..seems to be limited to feats...and, I'd believe is a bonus feat indicator...however, under his combat gear...all potions are marked with an asterisk.. Khellek...similiar notations for feats...but, spells and magical items are noted with asterisks as well... Paizo...would you please give an explanation to your annotation convention ? Thanks
