I found that odd, too, and resolved it by giving Winter the Divine Scourge archetype (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/cleric/archetypes/paizo---cle ric-archetypes/divine-scourge-cleric-archetype) and flavoring her as having been sent because of her connection to the darker side of divinity. I replaced Extra Channel with Extra Hex, and gave her the Slumber and Evil Eye hexes.

You could also give her Variant channeling (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/cleric/variant-channeling).

My solution to this was to say her holy symbol was lost during the craziness involved in the cult uprising.

good guys aren't supposed to just murder people because their alignment is evil. If you hide your evil activities from the good guys they shouldn't just go and kill you. Murder seems like a very reasonable reason for a deity to abandon a pally or cleric

i would recommend www.rptools.net. its a pretty cool program and they have loads of user made maps in the community section

if your deity is sarenrae you get access to a scimitar and that makes for a pretty decent one hander/ shield build. I find i cast shield of faith in most fights and with decent armor, especially mithril breastplate or chain, you can get a pretty good ac pretty quick and rely on precise strike, bane, judgments, and weapon crits for your damage. Power attack is a pretty good option as well especially since you'll be getting a really good flanking bonus to attack rolls with outflank. Your best bet with spells is take 1 or 2 combat spells, my faves are shield of faith or divine favor, then go with utility type spells. It's nice to have one spell of every level you will cast a lot, like CLW but also take spells like remove fear, lesser restoration, etc. Don't neglect the crazy powerful option in the APG to sacrifice your favored class bonus to get a free spell known.

I'm very tempted to make a dwarven monk zen archer from the APG. Seems like all the bonuses work very well but it seems so weird to have a dwarf toting around a bow

my gaming group uses maptools (free) which is a virtual tabletop that does require some learning curve but once you start to get it if you prepare prepare beforehand it actually goes much faster than conventional tabletop gaming. Plus you can put all sorts of images on the tabletop and give out handouts and such, its very nice. We just use skype to chat (also free). Works out really well for the most part

all you need is a hat with 2 vial holders attached and a tube which runs from them to your mouth. Then you can suck down a potion as a free action while fighting. Think "the really drunk guy at the football game"

Used this feat today for the first time granted by a Cavalier to other party members.

Anyhow While having an Orc flanked with our level 1 party, one Person Crit which i understand Triggers an Attack of oportunity. Then the Person who recved the AOO also Crit, Triggering the Origonal person to get a Crit

so Rogue Crits
Cavalier Gets AOO and then Crits
Rogue gets an AOO.

A lvl 1 party should not have access to this feat as it has a pre req of +4 BaB

I really don't feel like this change is a nerf for the class. It is less powerful at lower lvls i will grant you, but it makes the ability scale much better and be much more useful later on. I would say from 5th lvl on it is much better than before for the versatility alone. From 10th lvl on it is way more powerful than before.

Being able to change between bonuses and have them at the max amount as a swift action is fantastic. The class is really made to be somewhat of a jack of all trades anyways and this really supports it. I love that my inquisitor can go from being a tank in the party to being a damage dealer to being a caster, and it just depends on the fight and what the party needs.

from what i remember of the temple of elemental evil it was mostly like that

maybe im missing something, but it seems to me that the change to judgement actually makes it more powerful at lvl 10+. Take the bonus to saving throws for instance, the previous high that you could get to your saving throw bonus was +3. Now at 10th lvl you get that max, and also get it the first round you activate the ability, instead of the third rnd. Also at 15th and then 20th lvl you get a higher bonus than you could ever achieve before. Its definitely weaker at lvls 1-4, and i'd say at 5-10 its about a wash. Yeah, you can only get a +2 instead of +3 but you do get that +2 on the first round of activation and most combats don't last very long

I would argue that for the AP which this trait was written for at least a couple of the other campaign traits are much more powerful than typical traits as well (gnoll killer comes to mind). Also, it is a campaign trait which i really doubt was intended to be used for anything other than this particular campaign. That being said it is certainly pretty powerful over the course of the AP
